Well, look at what delicious deal Steam has dropped in our laps today. I know I’m not the only one who took advantage of their crazily phenomenal holiday sale, scooping The Witcher: The Enhanced Edition, Braid, and the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for the low price of about eighteen bucks and a whole lot of happy tears. So I wasn’t really surprised when I fired up Steam this evening and saw the promotion they are running for one of the most anticipated titles of 2010. Everyone’s favorite method of digital distribution (or at least mine) has another little gift for those looking to pre-order BioShock 2.
Choose Steam for your journey back to Rapture and not only do you get 10% off the 50 dollar PC retail price, but you will be able to cuddle with your very own copy of the first BioShock for free. Free? Yep, that’s right. Already own it? Well, get yourself a new best friend by giving it to them as a gift on Steam. Either way, you can’t lose. Unless you don’t have any friends. But at least you will have two copies of a stellar game.
Right.
BioShock 2 will release on February 9th for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Don't tell my wife but I am in love with Steam! Who knew that when we first met in 2002 on a blind date setup by my friends Counterstrike and Team Fortress we would hit it off and still be together almost 8 years later. Don't worry baby, with gifts like this, I will never leave you
I wish more of these games were compatible with Macs!
I can't wait for Bioshock 2, I will buy the game with or without the deal, its really a sweet deal. I purchased lot of games in holiday season too.
Well, everyone knows *real* gamers use a PC.
I would hope gamers use PCs, because nothing is compatible with Macs! I need to get a gaming computer so I don't feel so left out….
Awesome incentive program to get new players caught up who've only heard about Bioshock through friends and the hype but haven't tried it themselves.
