One of the biggest Twitch streamers in the world will soon be back. Pokimane was recently banned from Twitch for streaming Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender. Her sudden suspension came as a surprise to some. However, Pokimane has confirmed the date on which her ban will end, and she will soon be back with a long stream as well.

Twitch is known to have a heavy hand when it comes to bans, even if at times a bit inconsistent. Recently Froste was banned, and the reasoning has caused some controversial debates among the Twitch community. In the case of Pokimane, her ban seemed to be a result of a DMCA violation, as this is a common suspension reason and Nickelodeon likely would not be happy with Pokimane streaming Avatar: The Last Airbender. But now that the dust has settled on the situation, the streamer will be returning extremely soon.

Pokimane has shared that her suspension is a 48 hour one, which can be fairly standard for the "crime." She seems to be having fun with the idea, as she initially tweeted that "the fire nation attacked," which is a direct reference to the show that she was banned for apparently showing on her stream. To celebrate her return after her mini-break, Pokimane says she will do a 12-hour stream starting on Monday morning, January 10. Pokimane has said that streaming burns her out in the past, so perhaps a couple of days of unplugging will actually be appreciated.

Outside of the direct streaming space, Pokimane appears to keep herself busy. She is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of a new company called RTS, which is a company that is attempting to fix the creative business model within esports and content creation. The company seems to have high ambitions, but it is likely that her fans are happy to see her return for a big steam on Monday morning.

Twitch had a dominating 2021, and that looks to continue into 2022. There are a good number of streamers and viewers that have moved to YouTube, but Twitch has remained on top. Pokimane's streams and her 8.5 million followers have been a huge part of the platform's success. Whether she gets a bit burned out at times, she gets small suspensions, or has other business responsibilities, Pokimane continues to be a titan in the content-creating world.
