Pokemon Scarlet and Violet features three major storylines that players will tackle throughout the open-world gameplay, including the Gym Challenge, the Treasure Hunt, and Team Star. It should come as no surprise, for example, that the Gym Challenge will see players battle 8 gyms before tackling the Elite Four, while players will face off with various Team Star leaders throughout Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The Treasure Hunt will see players come up against powerful "Boss" Pokemon known as Titans. These creatures are perhaps most comparable to the Noble Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, as they serve a similar role, but players should remain aware of how they tackle this storyline. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet do not feature level scaling, so it's possible to skip a weak titan and have to come back later to beat it into oblivion.

One Twitter user known as Tobi_386 compiled a list of all Titan Pokemon, Gym Leaders, and Team Star Leaders so players could be aware of the "optimal route" through Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Some of this was known before, as the various leaks are everywhere, but seeing all the Titan Pokemon with their level in one place goes a long way in understanding these creatures. Whereas there are 8 Gym Leaders, there are 5 Team Star Leaders and 5 Titan Pokemon.

The following includes the recommended order for the Titan Pokemon, as well as their level/name:

The wide level gaps give players plenty of room to explore the other storylines, but it's clearly trying to rush one or the other will see players come up against a wall. The lack of level scaling in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as well as the general design, does seem set up so a player doesn't rush one story.

From this list, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans should be familiar with Klawf, which has appeared in a lot of marketing, and Great Tusk/Iron Treads - the Paradox forms of Donphan shown off in a recent trailer. Others may be confusing for those not keeping up with leaks. Tatsugiri is a Water/Dragon Pokemon based on Sushi, Orthworm is a giant worm with a steel body, and Bombirdier is a Dark/Flying type.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
