Among the trailers teasing more from the games in the lead-up to their release, Nintendo has announced some other information about them, including that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be getting a day one patch.This patch will install the online feature of the games, allowing players to take part in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Tera Raids, ranked battles, and more. Another online feature that a lot of fans have requested for the upcoming titles is the integration of Pokemon Home. Acting as a paid, cloud-based Pokemon storage service, Pokemon Home allows players to keep anywhere up to thousands of creatures depending on their plan. First releasing in 2020, the service has been seen by many fans as a logical step to allow Pokemon from different generations to be part of a team in future games.Now, it has been officially unveiled that Pokemon Home will be coming to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, allowing players to transfer over their favorite companions from past entries. This was revealed by Nintendo in a post made to Scarlet and Violet's website, and the company made a specific note to ensure fans knew they would only be allowed to transfer over "select" Pokemon when Pokemon Home integration arrives in Spring 2023. This means that not every creature will be available in the Paldea region.

Recently, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have shown off a fair few new creatures coming to the games. There's the Ghost-type Gimmighoul, which can appear inside a chest and as a strange, bug-like creature. Also, in the latest trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Paradox Pokemon were introduced, with an Ancient and Future variation for Donphan. Besides these official reveals, leaks have also unveiled a lot of creatures coming in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, including showcasing the evolutions for some of the games' starter Pokemon.
