Best Weapons for Morgana

Sonic Blade or Lunar Cutlass

persona 5 morgana zorro

The Sonic Blade makes for a decent early weapon for Morgana, becoming available from Untouchable for 9,000 after gaining access to Madarame's Palace. It has a reasonably good 66 attack and 97 accuracy, paired with an effect that grants Morgana +3 Agility. Since agility governs both critical hits and evasion, it is very useful on the naturally agile Morgana.

An alternative with better raw stats but no additional effect is the Lunar Cutlass. It boasts 90 attack and 99 accuracy, and can be found in Madarame's Palace itself. Players wishing to acquire it will need to crack open a locked chest in Museum F1 - SP Exhibition.

Headhunter Ladle/Headhunter Ladle EX

Pisaca in Persona 5

A fantastic weapon for Morgana in the mid-game is the Headhunter Ladle, a weapon with 150 attack, 90 accuracy, and a small boost to critical hit rate. It is created by executing Pisaca in the Electric Chair, a level 30 Death Arcana persona.

The Headhunter Ladle EX is acquired by performing the same execution during a Fusion Alarm and has identical stats with a larger critical hit rate boost. Since Morgana is very agile and has good critical hit rate anyway, this weapon can allow him to deal them out with even greater regularity.

Megistos Sword

For the late-game, the Megistos Sword is a good pick for players unable or unwilling to take the additional time to acquire Morgana's ultimate weapon. The Megistos Sword can be purchased from Untouchable for 55,600 starting on 1/13 and boasts 290 attack, 97 accuracy, and a +5 bonus to magic. This makes it a good pick for strengthening Morgana's wind elemental attacks and his powerful healing magic, and it remains a very capable weapon for melee attacks too.

Claiomh Solais/Claiom Solais R

Players looking for the best melee weapon for Morgana should definitely go for Claiomh Solais, or its upgraded form Claiom Solais R. The Claiomh Solais has 315 attack, 97 accuracy, and grants Morgana +50 SP to keep him casting spells even longer in a fight. It is acquired by executing Mother Harlot using the Electric Chair, a powerful level 85 Empress persona that is unlocked for fusion by completing Haru's confidant.

Waiting for a Fusion Alarm before executing Mother Harlot will yield the Claiom Solais R, which has 330 attack but otherwise identical stats.

Catnap/Cat Buster

Players looking for a powerful slingshot for Morgana will need to wait until Joker is around level 30 and able to fuse Neko Shogun, but the reward is well worth it. Catnap has 150 attack and 90 accuracy, while also having a medium chance of inflicting sleep with each shot. This makes it useful for crowd control as well as damage. It is acquired by executing Neko Shogun with the Electric Chair, a level 30 Star persona.

Waiting for a Fusion Alarm to perform the execution yields the even stronger Cat Buster, with 170 attack.

Sudarshana/Sudarshana EX

an important hindu god

Players hoping to acquire Morgana's ultimate slingshot will need to get hold of Vishnu first. Vishnu is a level 83 Fool persona and the ultimate persona of the Fool Arcana, requiring players to reach the bottom of Mementos and gain access to Qliphoth World, thus maxing out the Fool confidant, before it can be created.

Executing Vishnu with the Electric Chair produces the Sudarshana, which has 315 attack, 90 accuracy, and a medium chance of inflicting the dizzy status when it hits an enemy. Much like the Catnap/Cat Buster before it, this makes it useful for crowd control while dealing fantastic damage too. Waiting for a Fusion Alarm allows the Sudarshana EX to be created instead, which has 330 attack and a high chance of inflicting dizzy, making it even better for this.

Best Armor for Morgana

Cat Knight's Collar

magician arcana persona that looks like a cat with a sword.

A decent piece of early gear for Morgana is the Cat Knight's Collar, which can be obtained by washing Sooty Boots at the laundromat. Sooty Boots are acquired by negotiating successfully with Cait Sith, or from treasure chests in Mementos: Qimranut and Mementos: Aiyatsbus.

The Cat Knight's Collar has 70 defense, 14 evasion, and a +3 bonus to the magic stat. This makes it useful for strengthening Morgana's wind attacks and healing magic.

Frost Hood/Frost Ace Hood

magician arcana persona that is a spirit of winter.

Another fantastic piece of gear for Morgana that can be acquired very early is the Frost Hood. This is obtained by executing Jack Frost using the Electric Chair, unlocked after securing the route to Madarame's treasure, and boasts 110 defense, 20 evasion, and +20 SP. This makes it excellent for providing Morgana with extra fuel for his healing spells and wind magic.

The Frost Ace Hood, acquired by executing Jack Frost in the same way during a Fusion Alarm, features 120 defense and grants +40 SP.

Dragon Scale Scarf - Wash Sooty Scale Armor

Acquiring a great piece of late-game armor for Morgana can be tricky, but the Dragon Scale Scarf will do nicely. It can be acquired by washing Sooty Scale Armor at the laundromat, which can be found by negotiating with Fafnir in Maruki's Palace and asking for items.

The Dragon Scale Scarf has 318 defense, 23 evasion, and reduces physical damage taken by a large amount, giving Morgana lots of extra survivability against physical attack-focused foes.

Best Accessories for Morgana

Soul Choker

persona 5 royal joker morgana

The Soul Choker is an expensive but highly useful item for Morgana. It can be acquired from 37 Degrees Celcius in Shibuya for 80,000 and gives the equipped character +30% maximum SP. This allows Morgana to make more frequent use of his healing skill.

Crystal Skull/Crystal Skull R

the fool arcana persona is a spirit in a crystal skull

The Crystal Skull is a powerful accessory that doubles evasion against all magical attacks except for mudo, hama, and almighty attacks. Since Morgana is pretty agile by default, he pairs very well with this accessory, and the additional +5 it grants to all of his stats makes it even more appealing.

It is created by executing a Crystal Skull using the Electric Chair. Crystal Skulls are a type of Treasure Demon that can be encountered in the Sheriruth Area of Mementos after the Depths of Mementos are opened, Mementos Depths, and the Path of Da'at.

Performing the execution during a Fusion Alarm will produce the Crystal Skull R, which has a +6 bonus to all stats instead.

Elecproof Collar

Due to his weakness to Electrical attacks, Morgana can also get plenty of use out of the Elecproof Collar acquired from the shopping channel on 5/29 for 4,980.

Special Shot Belt

Persona 5 Seth

Due to his excellent agility and ability to land critical hits, Morgana can benefit from using the Special Shot Belt to gain the One-Shot Kill attack, which deals gun damage with improved chances of scoring a critical hit. It is obtained by itemizing Seth during a Fusion Alarm.

SP Adhesive 3

tae takemi p5 Cropped

Like most characters in the game, Morgana can get tons of use out of the SP Adhesive accessories sold by Takemi's Clinic. The SP Adhesive 3 restores 7% of his SP every turn in battle, reducing the need for SP restoring items.

Since the SP Adhesive 3 costs 100,000 at the start of the game, it's best to unlock the Clinic discount from Takemi's confidant first, reducing it to a more reasonable 50,000.

Persona 5 Royal is available for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
