Blizzard confirms its plans to have Bastion, Torbjorn, and Junkertown playable in all Overwatch 2 game modes on October 25. Overwatch 2 has had an incredibly popular launch, with the weeks following its release seeing upwards of 25 million players hop on the new FPS. However, despite the popularity of this release Blizzard's latest title has had its fair share of problems as well. For example, Overwatch 2 players are currently facing a hero lockout issue, where they can't pick the characters they own.Alongside the hero lockout problems, some of Overwatch 2's characters have also been associated with certain exploits. Bastion and Torbjorn were removed from Overwatch 2 competitive play after their abilities were found to be much stronger than intended due to glitches. The former's ultimate allowed him to fire more projectiles than he's meant to, and the latter could use his Overload ability twice in quick succession. Bastion was later removed entirely from the game, and can't even be found in the hero select screen at the time of writing.RELATED: Overwatch 2 Adds Kiriko to CompetitiveWhile Bastion mains have been missing their favorite robot, it seems like the wait for him to return could soon be over. A Twitter post from Overwatch 2's Commercial Leader Jon Spector states that Bastion, Torbjorn, and the Overwatch 2 map Junkertown will all be making their return to competitive play on October 25. A longer post on Blizzard's forum outlines some more details, informing fans that the next major update is set for the 25 as well.

While a lot of fans are happy to see the return of Bastion, some Overwatch 2 players are still unhappy with the overall state of the game. In the comments of Spector's post, one person asked why patches are taking so long for Blizzard to implement. However, another player pointed out that the launch of Overwatch 2 has suffered from more than just glitches with heroes, as many couldn't even log onto the game due to queue issues that plague its immediate release.

Apart from Bastion and Torbjorn's problems, other Overwatch 2 players are pointing out different glitches occurring when they play certain heroes. Recently, a new video showed how Sombra could get inside the payload in Overwatch 2, essentially making her invulnerable to damage. It doesn't seem as if Blizzard has taken note of this issue yet, allowing players to use the exploit in their casual and competitive games. Once the Bastion and Torbjorn fixes are out of the way, this will likely give the developers time to focus on the other problems.

Overwatch 2 is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
