The Worst Generation is a group of extraordinary pirates, who gathered together at Sabaody Archipelago before the Summit War. The group consists of twelve pirates, and all of them were considered to be destined for big things. The Worst Generation consists of— Monkey D. Luffy, Trafalgar Law, Eustass Kid, Roronoa Zoro, Killer, Basil Hawkins, X-Drake, Urouge, Jewelry Bonney, Capone Bege, Scratchmen Apoo, and Blackbeard.

So far, the members of the Worst Generation have been involved in various major events, which have left a major impact on the series, and without a doubt, some of them will be involved in the future arcs of One Piece.

Luffy, Law, and Kid in Wano

Currently, One Piece is focused on the Land of Wano, where Luffy and co. are fighting against the Beasts Pirates. Luffy's goal is to defeat Kaido, one of the Yonko, and end his reign as the ruler of Wano. It was obvious from the very beginning that Luffy will undoubtedly face a stern challenge in taking down Kaido as it is a big step up from his previous opponents.

Before Wano, Luffy's toughest test came in the form of Charlotte Katakuri, who is one of the Sweet Commanders. The result of Luffy's fight against Kaido is still unknown, but there's no doubt that it will be revealed soon.

Law and Kid have also been heavily involved in the Wano Country arc. The two of them had originally teamed up with Luffy, Zoro, and Killer to fight Kaido and Big Mom on the rooftop, however, they soon realized that they had to change their strategy to take down the two behemoths.

They managed to separate Big Mom and Kaido, which granted them an opportunity to win. Law and Kid are currently fighting Big Mom and so far everything they have thrown at her has failed. She managed to stand up even after taking awakened devil fruit attacks. Law and Kid must win this fight if they want to stay within Luffy's range, as Luffy is fighting Kaido 1v1.

Zoro, Hawkins, Apoo, Drake, and Killer

Hawkins joined the Beasts Pirates as a Headliner because he feared that Kaido would kill him otherwise. X-Drake sought out an audience with Kaido, and eventually, he became a member of the Tobi Roppo. Apoo had already allied himself with the Beasts Pirates, and he acted as their informant. Killer was forcefully fed a failed SMILE, which resulted in his uncontrollable laughter.

During the raid on Onigashima, Hawkins faced off against Killer, who cleverly managed to bypass Hawkins' devil fruit ability. With his win, Killer showed that he could use his brains just as well as his blades. Drake was revealed to be an undercover Marine, and a part of Team SWORD, whose real objective remains unknown. Roronoa Zoro clashed against King, and after an intense fight, the latter managed to beat him. The fight was Zoro's toughest in the series so far and the experience that he gained from it will prove beneficial in the future arcs.

Jewelry Bonney and The World Government

Jewelry Bonney is an enigmatic character, who has been chased by the World Government for unknown reasons. She was captured by Blackbeard, who turned her in to the Marines, but Bonney managed to escape somehow. Also, this isn't the only mystery surrounding Bonney. She was seen crying when the deaths of Ace and Whitebeard were being televised.

Bonney also seems sympathetic towards Bartholomew Kuma, who is a former Revolutionary. With so many mysteries, it is quite clear that Bonney will still have some role to play in the series.

The Impact Of The Rest Of The Supernovas

One Piece - Wano Arc Luffy Charging Up A Big Punch

Without a doubt, Luffy will have the biggest impact on the story after all he is the main protagonist of the series. Luffy looks destined to topple the World Government, and he will also find the One Piece, which would make him the Pirate King. His influence on the story will be far greater than any other member of the Worst Generation.

Law does seem to have some kind of interest in the history of the "D." clan, and it is plausible to assume that his alliance with Luffy might carry on beyond Wano. Unlike Luffy and Kid, Law has not openly stated his desire to become the Pirate King, so there is a possibility that Law could be hiding something.

Eustass Kid is a notorious pirate, who dreams of becoming the Pirate King, and just like Luffy, he is very serious about his goals. After Wano, Kid will very likely end his alliance with Law and Luffy, and set out again in search of the final island, Laugh Tale. He will be joined by his right-hand man, Killer.

As things stand in Wano, Apoo and Hawkins are not likely to be involved in the future arcs. Capone Bege was involved in the Whole Cake Island arc, so his involvement also seems unlikely. Urouge might have a role in the next arcs as he is the most underutilized member of the Worst Generation.

Blackbeard is the final villain that Luffy will face in One Piece, so it is apparent that he has a huge role to play in the future arcs. It is unknown what Blackbeard's true motives are, but with time, they will come to light.
