As November rears its head, it signifies the beginning of the end of the Holiday Gaming season. This is what gamers have been waiting for, all of the heavy hitters are set to release in this month. Whether you want to be a soldier on the front lines, find treasure or experience a fantastical middle-earth adventure, there is sure to be something for everybody this November, and here at Game Rant, we've compiled which games we'll be playing this month.

In addition to the game's we'll be playing, we'll also tell you what our most anticipated game for November is. Last month it was Batman: Arkham City, but which game will take the coveted title for November? That's not all! We've also compiled a list of all of games releasing in November, and what platforms they'll be on!

Game Rant's Playlist

Robert Keyes:

Even with quite a few titles moving to 2012, it's painfully awesome what's still coming in November 2011. Skyrim is my most anticipated game of the year, but I also hope to play War in the North, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Uncharted 3, Minecraft and Modern Warfare 3 out of what's new and desperately trying to make time to return to Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, Forza 4 and the Batman games. Ugh.

Ben Kendrick:

A lot of gamers will no doubt spend much of November in the online trenches of Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 but, with a few exceptions, I've always been drawn to great single player experiences. I'll dabble with multiplayer but I'm a sucker for a compelling story campaign - which is why I'll be spending most of my November game time completing the story of Ezio Auditore da Firenze in Assassin's Creed: Revelations as well as adventuring through my most anticipated game of the year, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. If I find some extra time, I intend to finish up Deus Ex: Human Revolution but with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword arriving this month, I'm expecting my gaming TV to be occupied more than usual - as my girlfriend embarks on Link's latest 40-hour adventure.

Jeff Schille:

It's the same story every November: way too many must-play games, not nearly enough money or time. I could easily make two more lists of runners-up and third-place finishers, but the games I am most interested in include: Lord of the Rings: War in the North, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Sonic Generations, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and Rayman Origins. Perhaps surprisingly, Super Mario 3D Land is my most anticipated game of the month, as I can't wait to see what Nintendo's best designers can do with the 3DS. Though I have no intention of abandoning Forza Motorsport 4 anytime soon (that game is so good!), special mention must go to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which has a real shot at being the most-played game in my house for the foreseeable future.

Andrew Dyce:

In the face of Assassin's Creed: Revelations and a chance to relive the original Halo with Anniversary I'll have my hands full this month. And while Skyrim looks prepared to consume the rest of my existence, it seems it will have to wait until the Christmas break. Oh, and that's overlooking my need to finish Arkham City, Gears of War 3 and Forza 4. Yeesh.

  • Assassin's Creed: Revelations
  • Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Gears of War 3
  • Forza 4

Jason Weissman:

Despite all the big titles set to release this month, I'm still in catch-up mode. I can't ignore the buzz anymore, so I'm planning on playing both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City this month via OnLive. And when my gaming window is tight, I'll work on making my fingers bleed courtesy of Rocksmith.

Riley Little:

My game plan for November is to play some World of Warcraft — a game that I haven't played since it originally launched. My friend convinced me to give it another try and I found a good deal on some time cards and expansions, so I figured it was worth another go. There are way too many freaking great games coming out, and I know I'm not going to have time for them all... My Games: Super Mario 3D Land, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, WWE 12, and Modern Warfare 3.

John Jacques:

Gears of War 3 - There's nothing quite like chainsawing through your friends - especially with Halloween approaching - and if your chainsaw happens to be attached to your gun, well, all the better. Football Manager 11 - With midterms abound, there's nothing like a good bout of sports management that you can run in the background whilst you focus on cracking out papers. Until league mods come out for FM12, I'll stick with last year's version. The The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim - This game can't come out soon enough. My housemates may worry when I disappear for three days without food into my room, but trust me, it'll be worth it. Most Anticipated Game: Uncharted 3 hands down. The original Uncharted was fantastic, and the sequel only built upon that and provided excitement all the way through. From the pieces I've played of Uncharted 3 so far, the full game will be an experience to behold.

William Case:

Straight up, I never would have thought that I want to play a racing game, but Forza 4 has definitively changed my mind. I'll be moonlighting with that, while splitting my time with the best of my November. Between Uncharted 3, Halo: Combat Evolution Anniversary, and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Souls… I may never sleep again. And I'll be okay with that.

  • Uncharted 3
  • Forza 4
  • Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
  • The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Trung Bui:

Skyrim - As a fan of fantasy set role playing games, Skyrim has to be one of the games I've been looking forward to since its original announcement. I'm looking forward to letting my mood take me where I want to play the game and see what kinds of surprises Bethesda has in store for people who are willing to ignore the campaign and really explore the world. Yes, I have plans to make a two-handed warrior who dabbles in the smallest bit of magic.

  • Skyrim

Jacob Siegel:

October was for Dark Souls and November is for Skyrim. There is so much I know I am going to have to play this month, from Uncharted 3 to Super Mario 3D Land to the final release of Minecraft, but it's all about the Elder Scrolls for the majority of the month. This might be the busiest November of gaming in my lifetime, and I am totally, 100% not prepared for it. Regardless, bring it on.

  • Skyrim
  • Uncharted 3
  • Super Mario 3D Land

Anthony Taormina:

Since there are just so many games coming out this month, I think I am going to have to not only invent a time machine and keep traveling back to play them, but I'll also have to forgo sleep, eating, and writing for Game Rant. Just kidding, I really like sleep and eating. My Games: Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Skyrim, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Saints Row: The Third, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and Halo Anniversary.

Dwayne Holder:

Before purchasing any of the many titles launching in November, my goal is to complete both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. I was able to narrow down my list of November releases to two titles: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and Assassin's Creed: Revelations.  I'm interested in a bunch of other titles in November including Need for Speed The Run and Metal Gear Solid HD collection, however I had to put these on the back burner due to time and money constraints. Narrowing my list down to two titles wasn't easy and as the month progresses I'm not sure how long I can hold out – Modern Warfare 3 is looking too good to pass up.

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Uncharted 3
  • Assassin's Creed: Revelations
  • Modern Warfare 3

Anthony Mole:

Gaming funds have dropped for me, but that's actually not a bad thing as I'll be able to clean up some of my backlog. Being the Naughty Dog fanboy I am, I plan to pick up Uncharted 3. I'll also be grabbing Modern Warfare 3 and The King of Fighters XIII. In terms of my backlog, I picked up the PC version of Brink a while back so I'll be giving that a spin. I also plan to finish Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway and Kirby's Return To Dreamland in the next couple of days, but I'm also going to spend the month trying to clean up all of the trophies in Section 8: Prejudice - only 8 more until my platinum! Oh, and maybe my friend will finally pick up Ratchet and Clank All 4 One so I can start playing it...

Alex Sebenski:

It's a good month to own a monster PC. Battlefield 3 just came out and if I can ever get Origin to let me play I'll be spending a lot of my time on it. Everyone else is making noise about the shocking ending to Batman: Arkham City, but not me. I'm late to the party and I'll be waiting till November 18th till I can play the game I'm most excited for this month.

  • Battlefield 3
  • Batman: Arkham City

Vivas Kaul:

I'll be picking up Uncharted 3 when it releases on the 1st, which will provide a bit of a break from Batman: Arkham City. The continuing adventures of Ezio will have to wait until I have some cash in my pocket. In the meantime though, I'll go back to playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution which I am close to finishing. Skyrim also has me excited, but to be frank Deus Ex is all of the RPG that I can handle at the moment. Albeit a cyberpunk RPG as opposed to a Tolkien fantasy one.

  • Uncharted 3
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Matt Rowland:

I'm still playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution heavily, trying to beat every mission with the stealth bonus. I'll be playing a lot of Assassin's Creed 2 and Oblivion in anticipation for Revelations and Skyrim. When I'm not doing that, you can find me on the PC still playing Civ 5.

Game Rant's Most Anticipated Game

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Uncharted 3 Most Anticipated Game

It's hardly surprising that Uncharted 3 is our most anticipated game, as the sequel to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, one of the most critically acclaimed games of this generation it would be difficult for most to pass up this title. Uncharted 3 is said to be an even bigger game than it's predecessors, with absolutely jaw dropping set pieces. Our review for the title should be dropping in the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned to Game Rant to hear (read?) what we have to say about one of the most anticipated titles this year.
