Voice actor Nolan North is arguably one of the most recognizable voices in all of video gaming. He's appeared in countless major game releases, most recently replacing Peter Dinklage as the voice of Ghost in Destiny, and will reprise his role as Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End in 2016. North is also known for being fairly outspoken, sometimes perhaps revealing a little too much before he's supposed to.

In the past, North has prematurely revealed projects such as Amy Hennig's Star Wars game with Visceral, as well as The Last of Us 2, which he confirmed well before Naughty Dog even started talking about. Now North has spilled the beans on a mysterious new gaming project that he's doing for Warner Bros.

In an interview with Grantland, North has described this gaming project at Warner Bros. as being quite the undertaking. He didn't reveal which development team he met with at Warner Bros. or what the project is exactly, but he did offer an idea of just how much work it's going to take.

"That'll be another 10 years of my life."

There are many possibilities as to what this mystery project could be. Considering North has previously worked with Warner Bros. on the critically-acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, playing the Black Hand of Sauron, it could be another Lord of the Rings project.

Another possibility is that North will be a part of the rumored Superman video game that is meant to help expand DC's video game universe from the Batman: Arkham series. North could potentially be the voice of Superman, or another popular DC character. North's suggestion that the project would take up a decade of his life seems to suggest that it's quite extensive and could possibly span multiple games, which would make sense if Warner Bros. is truly planning a DC video game universe.

We've seen plenty of evidence in favor of a Superman game coming from Warner Bros. This has included a bevy of Superman Easter Eggs in Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight, as well as leaked screenshots that seem to suggest the rumored Superman game may already be well in development. We also have no idea what Rocksteady is currently developing, and considering their massive success with the Batman: Arkham series, it makes sense for Warner Bros. to have them work on another DC superhero next.

Whatever North is working on at Warner Bros., the prospect of a project with long-term staying power is intriguing. As to when Warner Bros. will openly discuss it, we can't say, but hopefully it's sooner rather than later.

What do you think Nolan North could be working on with Warner Bros.? Is it The Lord of the Rings related, something to do with a new DC video game universe built off the Batman: Arkham series, or perhaps another Warner Bros. property like Harry Potter?
