We apologize to all those Gordon Freeman fans out there as rumors from Valve suggest that Half-Life: Episode Three won’t make an appearance this year.
Game Informer’s February issue featured a rumor in their Loose Note column which said “there won’t be any game from the [Half-Life] franchise in 2010, and what will finally come out is still unknown,” leaving many to wonder what exactly Valve has got planned; will we see Half-Life 3 first perhaps?
Half-Life: Episode Two dropped over two years ago and Valve have since been teasing us with Episode Three. All I can say is this; Valve, I don’t like to wait.

Booooo.
Ya, that blows and the hype is dying with such a long delay. They're probably focusing on the Left 4 Dead titles since they're so small and easy to make quick…
This is annoying. Valve stated back in the day that the reason for the episodic releases was so that these “delays” wouldnt happen. They specifically stated that they didnt want us having to wait 10yrs for the Half-Life/Gordon Freeman story to end. Well, 10yrs since Half-life 1 has definitely passed….so what now Valve??????
I love valve and they have always been one of my favorite developers and so this is really hurting my feelings. :'(
