8 Sound Design
Upon start-up of the Nintendo Store, gamers may find themselves waiting a few seconds before accessing it. This isn’t uncommon for consoles, nor is it the player’s internet. There’s just an abundance of content that needs to be loaded. However, the sound design during these load times is rather pleasant. Whilst scrolling through the store, players will be greeted with plenty of satisfying sounds as they scroll and click through the store to find items. 7 Simple Layout
Whereas PlayStation and Xbox have many categories and tabs that may appear confusing to some players, the Nintendo store allows for a much easier and more accessible layout of its games store pages. Overall, this can make the experience of finding games much easier.
All tabs are kept neat and to the left of the screen. This keeps the page from being intrusive and allows gamers to select from the tabs with ease, and without getting lost and needing to get back to the home screen just to start again. Nintendo’s store is very user-friendly in this regard.
6 Calming Color Scheme
Everyone knows that PlayStation is blue, and Xbox is green. This color scheme has existed as the identifiable brand for these console colors for many years. Nintendo is also seen as a bright red, yet, unlike the storefronts of PlayStation and Xbox, Nintendo has a basic and calming color scheme for gamers to look at.
The soft orange and white screen is split in two and features a less busy screen than either of its PlayStation and Xbox counterparts. Gamers can casually scroll through the game titles and tabs without losing sight of the chilled-out color scheme, or being bombarded with images that bundle and take up the entire screen.

The Nintendo Shop proudly shows off its Nintendo exclusive titles, something that PlayStation and Xbox players do not have access to unless they purchase a Nintendo Switch. These exclusives are greatly adored, and well worth the asking price, both currently and whenever they enter a digital sale.
1 The Gold Points System
Purchasing items on PlayStation and Xbox grants no real rewards other than the game or DLC that players pay for. Nintendo allows players to enter into a reward scheme upon each purchase. Before every purchase, players will be told how many Gold Points they will obtain.
Gold Points are valid for 12 months after being collected and are earned on select purchases on the Nintendo Switch system. The Nintendo eShop keeps these Gold Points, and they can be redeemed for a variety of rewards. This can range from games to digital content on the eShop, or even the official Nintendo website. Sadly, the Master Sword cannot be purchased.
