The very well-supported Uncharted 2 is still getting regular doses of love from its developer. Naughty Dog has announced some fun new content for the game, and your PlayStation Network avatar as well.
The new addition to the game, titled “The Lab,” is a fresh new playlist that will be used to test out various gametypes. The playlist will show up “every other weekend for the foreseeable future,” according to the PlayStation Blog.
The first gametype featured on this playlist is 2 vs. 2 Team Deathmatch. It’s pretty self-explanatory, but should be something fun and new to check out nonetheless.
The playlist is currently up until the 1st of June, and will return two weekends from now with something new. Oh, and by the way, it’s a double cash weekend until the playlist disappears, so go get yourself some extra multiplayer money while you can.
The second and less significant bit of Uncharted 2 news relates to PSN avatars. There are 10 new avatars available for purchase, which include key characters from the game, and one of the coveted Phurba Dagger. Pricing is either 49 cents each, or in one of two separate packs for a discounted price per avatar.
