Last week saw game publishers get back to the work of unleashing their wares on an eager public after the spectacle of E3 2011. This week, those efforts are redoubled to the extenet that players could be forgiven for thinking that Christmas has come early this year.

It's tough to single out a specific title as leading the charge this week, but the many games players should be looking forward to include Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, F.E.A.R. 3, Dungeon Siege III, Shadows of The Damned, Trenched, and Cars 2: The Video Game.

Once again, it's a great week for games. Check out the new releases for June 19 though 25, 2011, broken out by platform and date.

The 3DS has had a tough time since it launched earlier this year, and many in the gaming press would lay the blame on the console's uninspiring line up. Though it may seem counter-intuitive to pin the system's hopes on a remake of a thirteen year old game, not every thirteen year old game is The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. Early reactions to the game's 3DS port have been overwhelmingly positive. Is this the game that will finally sell consumers on the value of glasses-free 3D? The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is available now, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

After suffering a number of delays, F.E.A.R. 3 finally makes its way to retail this week. The first game in the series not developed by creators Monolith (who are working on the downloadable Batman shooter Gotham City Imposters), F.E.A.R. 3 is Day 1 Studios attempt at redemption after the disappointing Fracture. Will F.E.A.R. 3's focus on horror help it to compete in the most crowded shooter market yet? F.E.A.R. 3 will be available June 21, 2011, for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Cars 2: The Video Game may not be at the top of most players' Games To Play This Summer list, though for kart racing fans, perhaps it should be. After all, it beat out Need for Speed: The Run to claim a spot on Game Rant's list of nominees for Best Sports/Racing Game of E3 2011, and as our hands-on preview makes clear, the game's multiplayer mode is all kinds of fun. Cars 2: The Video Game releases June 21, 2011, for the Mac, Xbox 360, DS, Wii, PC, PS3, and PSP.

Honorable mentions this week go to the Suda 51/Shinji Mikami/Akira Yamaoka collaboration Shadows of The Damned, which should be as bat-ass crazy as it is violent, and Double Fine's latest downloadable game, Trenched, which brings the developer's signature humor to a tower defense-eque game.

As always, we want to hear from you. Which of this weeks games will you be picking up? What upcoming games are you looking forward to?
