Naruto Shippuden 3DS Five Kages Takara Tomy

Naruto fans will be pleased to know that Naruto Shippuden Nin-rittai Emake Saikyou Ninkai Kessen has finally received a release date. Also revealed is some information about very important characters in the Naruto ninja world that will be featured in the game.

Takara Tomy has announced that all five Kages will appear in the game, and  players will be able to fight against at least some of them. For any players that may not know already, a Kage (Shadow) in Naruto is the leader of one of the five strongest hidden ninja villages.

Each one of the Kages is named after the country in which their hidden village resides. These top five countries are also named after one of the five elements: Fire (Ho), Water, (Mizu), Lightning (Rai), Wind (Kaze), and Earth (Tsuchi). All of the Kages are insanely powerful and are S-Ranked level ninjas. Defeating one has been seen in the show as being very difficult.

The five Kages that will be in the game are: Tsunade (Hokage), Mei (Mizukage), A (Raikage), Gaara (Kazekage) and Onoki (Tsuchikage). It is interesting to note that Danzo, who was previously a Hokage-candidate that was going to succeed Tsunade, has not yet been confirmed for the game.

Ninkai Kessen will feature a totally original story, and Tomy has also announced that this game will be strictly just a singleplayer experience.

There still isn’t any confirmation that this title will reach North American shores, but Atlus has been known recently for bringing the Naruto games over here.

Looking forward to making this new Naruto title apart of your collection a little bit after the 3DS is released? Feeling like playing as “ninja” is getting a little tiresome? Let us know with your thoughts and comments below!

Naruto Shippuden Nin-rittai Emake Saikyou Ninkai Kessen is scheduled to be released in Japan on March 31, 2011, for the Nintendo 3DS.
