12 "Stop telling me what to do!" – Bakugo Katsuki

My Hero Academia Bakugo yelling at Todoroki and Deku

Bakugo is known as the character with a good heart deep down, who has a hard time expressing his feelings and collaborating with his teammates. He says this quote multiple times throughout the film, mainly aimed at Todoroki Shoto when he creates a plan of attack against villains.

Instead of saying "okay" or "good idea", Bakugo simply replies with "Don't tell me what to do," which is his fiery way of waying "Got it!" He always does listen to his teammate and follows his plan, he just doesn't want to give him the outward respect and acknowledgement. Classic Bakugo.

11 "We’re counting on you, future heroes." – All Might

My Hero Academia weakened All Might smiling

After All Might went out of commission following his epic battle against All for One, he has to help the heroes behind the scenes and off the battlefield. All Might was in the World Heroes' headquarters where he oversaw the mission from safety. He is constantly worried for his fellow heroes, students, and friends, but he puts his faith in them and sends good luck to them from afar.

All Might is still an important figure in the series and this film, even in a weakened state. He can still motivate and push heroes to do their best and save the day.

10 "Promise you won’t laugh?" "I won’t! I swear it!" – Rody & Deku

Fans weren't expecting one of the best friendships in the entire franchise to come from the third movie, but it did. The plot revolves around the new friendship between Rody and Deku, showing their adventure along the countryside together as they escape the onslaught of mysterious villains trying to kill them.

They reveal their hopes, dreams, and secrets to each other along the way, showing how passionate and intense their bond is with each other. When Deku asks what Rody's quirk is, he's embarrassed, but confides in Deku anyways, proving their trust in one another.

9 "Why is he telling me what to eat?" – Todoroki Shoto

When Rody and Deku are on the run from the police and the mercenary villains, Deku sends a cryptic text to Shoto that talks about eating his lunch with strawberries — much to the latter's confusion.

Todoroki is a very literal teenager, not understanding double entendres or common slang phrases, so he is confused by the text that clearly has a hidden message. It takes the help of another one of Endeavor's partner heroes to uncover what Deku's lunch message is actually trying to say.

8 "I can save others from this misery" – Flect Turn

My Hero Academia World Heroes Mission Flect Turn

Villains in the My Hero Academia world always have a deeper, underlying reason for their crimes, and Flect Turn, the leader of Humarize, is no exception. In one scene, this intimidating blue man reveals his sad backstory to Deku to try to get him to understand his actions.

Since Flect Turn's birth, his quirk had made it impossible to for others to touch him, leading him to be shunned by all of his relationships throughout his life. He grew up sad and alone, and wanted to make sure that no unfortunate quirks like his would ever affect another human being ever again.

7 "I believe in Rody because I believe in heroes!!" – Deku

Throughout the movie, Rody talks about being a nobody and a loser, saying that he is no better than any other villian or scummy thief. He questions why Deku continues to save him, and the latter says that everyone deserves saving, no matter who they are.

By the end of the movie, Deku proclaims that he views Rody as a hero, and not as a petty villain. He was able to go from chasing down Rody to throw him in jail at the start of the film to seeing him as a true, honorable hero by the end of it.

6 "If you wanna get crazy, I’m right there with you!" – Bakugo Katsuki

The final battles between the three main UA students were absolutely mind-blowing, but Bakugo's took the cake at being the wildest one. Every time the film panned back to his battle, things ramped up even more.

He was beaten and bloody and had a bursted eye vessel by the end of it, but he never backed down or lost strength. His fighting grew more intense with each blow, until he blew the Serpenter twins to smithereens with his quick thinking and fantastic skills.

5 "A hero knows what it means to keep fighting until the end" – Deku

Hero-loving Deku is always hitting viewers with amazing, motivating quotes about his love for heroes, and this movie had many of them. He tells Flect Turn that he will never give up, for "heroes always see things through and we use our abilities for good."

Deku has endless love and admiration for not only heroes, but for all people with quirks who live good lives. He sees the beauty in the hero society and will never miss the opportunity to praise it.

4 "GO BEYOND…PLUS ULTRA!" – Deku

Would it be a My Hero Academia movie without this iconic quote? The motto of UA and a recurring saying for many heroes in Japan, "Go Beyond, Plus Ultra" is a quote that many heroes follow in their lives of crime fighting.

They always have to go beyond their limits and do everything they can to stop evil from winning. It's a great motto for every young hero to follow on their journey to achieving their dreams.

3 "Don’t you dare die, you kick his a**!" – Rody

My Hero Academia Rody Soul yelling at Deku

Rody is hands down the best original character to come out of a My Hero Academia movie. He is funny, talented, street smart, and caring towards his loved ones. Despite his tragic upbringing, he kept a good heart and worked hard to keep his siblings safe.

Rody admires Deku passionately and trusts him with his whole being, so even when Deku looked like he could lose, Rody motivated him to keep pushing to save the day.

2 "United States of Smash!" – Deku

Deku winding up for a huge Smash

There were many amazing Smashes throughout the film, but this one definitely takes the cake as the coolest one. Deku took on the "Smash" attack names from All Might, continuing his legacy as he took on the powers of One for All.

As his former teacher did, Deku saved the name "United States of Smash" for the biggest, most powerful attack he could conjure. This mighty smash ended the boss battle and took down Flect Turn once and for all.

1 “You did great...You did amazing, Rody” - Deku

My Hero Academia Rody Soul smiling fondly

Again, this movie was as incredible as it was in large part thanks to the loving and charming relationship between Deku and Rody. The two were polar opposites at the start of the movie, one being a hero from a top ranking school, the other an orphan doing crime on the streets.

By the end, though, the two were holding each other after nearly sacrificing their lives for the world, crying and laughing in joy with one another. Their bond is the heart and soul of this movie, and truly makes it worth watching.
