Mortal Kombat X New Fighter Feet

Just days after teasing the full character select screen for Mortal Kombat X, Creative Director Ed Boon is at it again. Only this time, instead of using completely obscure silhouettes Boon is using feet to tease some upcoming MKX additions.

As an active member of Twitter, Boon has never shied away from keeping his fan base engaged. Moreover, when it comes to Mortal Kombat news he tends to play fast and loose with his teases. Just this week, for example, Boon teased five additional Mortal Kombat X fighters by showcasing their feet.

Some will remember that Boon had previously revealed an image featuring a set of feet, which many thought to be a selection of Mortal Kombat X fighters but didn't know what to make of. Then, when Quan Chi was confirmed for the roster, Boon himself confirmed that the character was part of that teaser image. So, now that we know what to look for, many gamers have begun poring over the image to try to determine whom the other feet might belong to.

Obviously, given the obscure nature of the image it's hard to point out any noticeable details. For that matter, we don't know if we're looking at the feet of old Mortal Kombat characters or completely new creations, which makes the guessing game all the more difficult.

However, the fact that Boon's teases have been coming on more regularly as of late suggests NetherRealm Studios is gearing up for some more Mortal Kombat X roster reveals. So far, we only know of a handful of fighters, and with a potential 20+ on the docket, that leaves many more to be unveiled. The Spike Video Game Awards, or whatever this year's event will be called, seems as good a time as any to reveal at least one new fighter, but NetherRealm has already shown they're not afraid to make an announcement with little fanfare. Which begs the question, whose feet will next step into the Mortal Kombat arena?

Do you notice any important details from the image? Which characters do you hope are included in the game?

Mortal Kombat X releases April 14, 2015 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
