Ever since Predator was announced as a DLC fighter in Mortal Kombat X, players have been dying to get a closer look at the horror icon in-game. For a long time, all we had to go on was a teaser image and some leaked screenshots, but as the DLC release date quickly approaches, it is finally time to see the Predator in action in Mortal Kombat X.

Before Predator arrives as the third downloadable character in Mortal Kombat X, NetherRealm wants to give players a closer look at what kind of new Kombos and Fatalities will be available for the character after they shell out a few bucks. Players had nearly an hour long stream reveal for just about every fighter (which is quite a few) before the game launched, so the community is used to knowing how MKX fighters perform before getting any hands-on time.

The Predator reveal trailer doesn't give quite as much information as the Kombat Kasts did for the original characters, but viewers do get to see Predator face off against a few of the classic fighters and some of the newer faces in the MK universe. Take a look in the trailer above...

The DLC bundle is available tomorrow for shoppers who purchased the Kombat Pack or on July 14 for gamers who want to buy the content a la carte. On the 14, the Predator Bundle will be available and include the new fighter and three new skins (Commando Johnny, Infrared Scorpion, and Carl Weathers as Jax). Shoppers will also have the chance to just purchase the fighter for $4.99 or just the skins for $3.99 as part of the Predator Prey Pack.

Watching Predator tear Jax apart in the Carl Weathers skin in the trailer is a ton of fun for fans of the film franchise, but once Jason enters the battle things get even better. Watching the two horror icons throw down with their trademark weapons and attacks from the movies is sure to make horror fans out there wish NetherRealm would create a whole game full of horror fighters. The creators have suggested that more DLC characters are a real possibility, so fans of these horror-inspired fighters should keep their fingers crossed. What kind of Kickstarter do we need to back to get Pinhead, Freddy, and Ghostface in on the fun too?

What do you think Predator's gameplay trailer? Will you be purchasing the new fighter? Let us know in the comments.

Mortal Kombat X is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 port is still anticipated to launch later this year.
