Mortal Kombat X continues to push forward with its Kombat Pack, releasing a new character, some new skins, and brutalities almost on a monthly basis. The previously announced combatant, Predator, makes its debut today in the gory fighting game for Kombat Pack owners, also letting players take control for free within the Premier Tower for a limited time.

Fans of free content will want to boot up Mortal Kombat X today to see the new versions of some classic MK finishers.

In conjunction with the Predator now being available in the game for Kombat Pack owners, NetherRealm Studios has also announced that all Mortal Kombat X players are going to be getting a klassic fatality pack for four of the game's klassic kombatants. Players who grab this pack will also unlock the Kold War Scorpion skin as well, which was once a pre-order bonus.

The pack includes four klassic fatalities taken from the very first Mortal Kombat game. Those who like to see before they buy can check out the video put together by YouTube user Life and Death above. Players will see Sub-Zero's spine rip, Scorpion burning his victim alive, Sonya giving a kiss of death, and Johnny Cage uppercutting his opponent's head right off.

Compared to the outrageously creative and cringe worthy fatalities that Mortal Kombat X relies on these days, the ones featured here in the Klassic Fatality Pack certainly appear to be less flashy and more straightforward. Considering that these fatalities once caused concern and shock for parents and other various outlets back in the day, it's interesting to see how tame they are compared to the new Mortal Kombat X fatalities.

With only one more DLC character left in the game's Kombat Pack, many fans are wondering what else NetherRealm Studios has up their sleeves for the popular fighting game. While fans have been getting a steady dose of skins and other additions since the game's release, there's been no official mention of content beyond the already announced Kombat Pack. With constant teasing from Ed Boon through social media, many fans believe a second Kombat Pack may be announced potentially for some of the classic characters seen in the game's story mode. At best, fans should expect news like this after the release of the final character, Tremor, in August.
