Most likely in response to the tremendous amount of Modern Warfare 3 information that leaked today, Infinity Ward and Activision have just released three teaser trailers for the game. While these three trailers are devoid of gameplay they do, however, verify some information that was previously revealed.

The most important element to take away from these trailers is that Modern Warfare 3 does exist. Gamers had known for some time that Infinity Ward, sans West and Zampella, were working on a successor to MW2, but, aside from that, information was slim.

Now, thanks to a ton of leaks, we know all of the game’s multiplayer maps, guns, and can even walk you through the storyline beat by beat. Another important item that comes with these teaser trailers is the new font for Modern Warfare 3, a font that also happens to appear on the leaked (and largely considered fake) box art for the game.

Adding credence to the idea that Modern Warfare 3 picks up right after the events of its predecessor, each of these trailers is set within a prominent city that is under Russian attack. As the player works to find Makarov and bring him to justice they will travel all around the globe with specific visits paid to London, Berlin, and New York, the three settings of these teaser trailers.

Without further ado we give you the America, England, and Germany teaser trailers for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3:

Though the various leaks of Modern Warfare 3 information may have forced Infinity Ward’s hand with these trailers, we anticipate the big reveals will be saved for this year’s E3. There are the bare bones details in place, but a lot of the core pieces, mostly those concerning multiplayer, have yet to be revealed. Stick tuned to Game Rant for more news on Modern Warfare 3 as it develops.

What do you think of these first teaser trailers for Modern Warfare 3? Can anyone translate the three pieces of Russian dialogue at the end of each trailer?

Modern Warfare 3 has an expected release of November 8, 2011 on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
