What We Want From Medal of Honor: Warfighter
Last week saw the official unveiling of the sequel to 2010's Medal of Honor. Titled Medal of Honor: Warfighter, few details are available for the game outside of the fact it's being developed entirely by Danger Close Games this time around which we hope will translate into a less disjointed experience and hopefully, something new for the series and genre.
We also know that the story of Warfighter will again follow Tier 1 Operators on their engagements, and that its multiplayer modes will at the very least include some form of co-op play.
With the latest two Call of Duty titles still dominating the online play charts, another on the way, and others enjoying Battlefield 3, what is Medal of Honor: Warfighter setting out to accomplish? What will it have to make us want to stop playing the other games for it, and what will it offer that we can't already get from the substitutes?
Below are five key things we'd like to see Danger Close Games implement and improve upon for Medal of Honor: Warfighter to make the game worth our while.

i say try something different, have a stronger focus on team based gameplay like CtF or planting the bomb (forgot game type name), but don’t exclude tdm b/c that will cut off heaps of players (as seen in brink), just water tdm down so people avoid it and try the other game modes.
this will pretty much be a more story driven version of bf3, which had the stupidest narrative i have ever come across in a war game.
it was either search and destroy or demolition. i cant remember either.

I thought you said Counterstrike was the last FPS game you played.
honestly i say forget multiplayer. work on the sp make it outstanding make it worthy of the tradition of Medal Of Honor. then do the multiplayer. of course thats coming from a guy that played the originals and only played them for the sp, but i feel they need to quit trying to compete. forget CoD. Forget battlefield. this is Medal of Honor we are talking about. been going longer than cod for damn sure, and as long as BF. just make it good.
at least they have listened to the complaints from the first game.
NO split screen co-op will be possible given how heavy frostbite 2 is on the consoles (it sometimes freezes even in single player)it is simply impossible!!! Why do you guys keep asking that? that is a stubborn childish petition, not possible, just look at how ugly mw3 graphics get while playing co-op, frostbite 2 needs all of the GPU capacity to even run. So, please stop asking for that…

Reminds me of the people asking for 64 players and bigger maps on console for BF3, then criticising DICE for not giving them that even though they explained why 50 times >.>
I know but then they could have a split screen mode with simpler graphics. For those of us that play in the same couch with real friends that would be awesome. Why do people believe that all gamers want to play alone in their houses via online like nerdy sociopaths, there are a lot of old-shool gamers like me that play splitscreen (the best social way to play, for those that have real friends willing to come over to their houses, losers won’t get it). Splitscreen > Graphics
hii i dont mind playing by my own but one of the reasons i love playing cod mp and i only buy cod games for my ps3 because i love splitscreen and its the funnest way top lay spent tons of time with my friends on black ops and mw3 amp and zombie mode doing that with moh or bf4 would be awesome
I played the latest medal of honor made by danger close and the campaing in my opinion was fantastic but it felt a little too short. on the other hand the multiplayer was pretty weak.
HELL YEAH!!! ANOTHER METAL OF HONER…THIS IS COOL I HOPE THEY DO SOMTHING LIKE A REINACTMENT OF THE SEAL TEAM SIX WIPE OUT BINLODENS SECRETE BASE. ANY GAME OUT THERE IS GUNNA ROCK. COD IS ALL SH*T…NO SOLDER IS SUPER HUMAN WITH A LOT OF CRAPPY PERKS. RUNNING IS FLUENT IN THESE GAMES WITH IS GOOD…ITS REAL. LIKE SOLDERS SHOULD BE. DICE SHOULD BE INVOLVEED IN THE DEVELOPMENT, DICE MAKES GAMES REAL FOR ME AND I HOPE OTHERS SEE IT THAT WAY TOO. I WAS HOPEING THEY WOULD HAVE MADE TIER 1 LONGER OF A CAMPAIGN. THE WAR IN AFFAGISTAN IS COOL BECAUSE IT’S ABOUT REAL WORLD WARS HAPPING AS WE PLAY. Not sure why they even thought that those close quarter maps from the relaunch would be enjoyable without it.
I Think that Moh Warfighter should have 2 player split Screen multiplayer.

medal of honor is die, battlefield 3 is die too, counterstrikes is won, he never leave his rules,
This is all the stuff i’ve been wanting in frostbite 2 games
Offline bots is a must! That’s what sold me on COD BOps. A short single player just makes me wait until I can pick up for cheap used like I did for the first MOH.
I have all the MOH series and i loved it because it was simple and you could game for hours on single and co-op campaign then you could play free for all against 4 of your mates without going online. Remember MOH came up with bots back when rising sun came out. I love MOH but they have to go back to what made MOH stand apart from COD,BF or Brothers in Arms (yea old school much).
Most of us true fans are willing to sacrifice graphics and quality to play co-op, that’s the only thing i didn’t like about the last one.
