  • EA/Bioware are obviously trying to increase the sales of new copies over pre-owned and I don't really blame them for trying that. I'll be getting the game day of release so I'll have free access to the Cerberus Network. So long as the DLC is of a good quality and a reasonable length I'll probably lap it all up. Every last bit!!
  • Agreed. Now, if only I could get my damn Return to Ostagar!
  • Me too, I waited all December for that to come out - no word. Then it was supposed to be early January. Now who knows when we'll see it. I hear it's actually a pretty short piece of content, but who cares, I need more Dragon Age ...NOW!!

Crazy how it was delayed, then showed up right away, then was taken down and re-delayed while the expansion is on its way.

    #confusion

In the end, this is a means of motivating purchasers to buy a fresh and sealed copy of the game. Yes, it's BioWare's way of making more money, but for the kind of effort they have put into this game, I don't think it's completely unfair or illogical of them to do so. They want your experience of Mass Effect 2 to be so different than everyone else's, it even starts when you buy a new copy!
  • BioWare could fill a box with excrement and I would buy it.
  • My thoughts exactly. lol

When it comes to DLC and this game, I wonder what the game would be like without Massani. And if you answer in any way that it would greatly change the game play or story, then it should be available to everyone. I understand the need to reduce piracy, and if you want to have an activation code for xbox games like you do for pc games that'd be fine, but don't limit the essential missions of the game that involves CHARACTERS to play. The armor, the weapons ect is all fine for DLC to me. Extra missions with characters that are standard are fine. But the fact that players will encounter a world where Massani doesn't exist is an issue.
