EA sports is usually pretty witty when it comes to marketing the Madden NFL games, where they routinely chirp teams who under-perform in the Super Bowl and keep fans up to date on the series. Though last year's game was a little underwhelming, the new Madden 15 was created for next generation consoles - and gamers have high expectations now that the franchise has jumped the gap between old and new consoles. To build up hype for the new game, EA Sports has created the most bafflingly beautiful work of art we've seen for a sports game so far - check out the video above if you haven't already.

Starring Dave Franco and Kevin Hart, the three-and-a-half-minute-long video quickly escalates to insanity as the chorus welcomes gamers to 'Madden Season', a time of year when friends' rivalries grow to new physical and emotional levels. The commercial also stars plenty of stars like the Epic Meal Time crew, as well as NFL athletes Colin Kaepernick, LeSean McCoy, Dez Bryant, Von Miller and Damian Lillard.

The advertisement features everything from rap sections composed entire out of 'blah' for the lyrics, to a Lady Gaga-esque performance with dolphins and a happy bear in a suit rocking it out on the violin as it emerges from a pool. Why not? Somewhere in all of that is an advertisement for Madden NFL 15, and we'll be damned if it didn't work like a charm. Somehow, it all came together to a strange climax of bewildering, beautiful advertising.

Madden 15 is getting its own Xbox One bundle, which will net gamers a Kinect-free console, a digital download of the game itself, and three Madden NFL Ultimate Team Pro Packs. With Madden Season quickly approaching, the console bundle comes in at $399 and is a great deal for fans who are still on the fence about which console to buy. Of course, the game will release concurrently on PS4 and PS3 as well - though there's currently no console bundles announced on that platform.

What do you think about the commercial, Ranters? Would you rather see more gameplay, or was it as good for you as it was for us?

Madden 15 is scheduled for an August 26th release in North America, and an August 29th release in Europe.
