Mad Catz Releasing Rock Band 3 Bundles

Most people would agree that Rock Band 3 is probably one of the best things to happen to parties and other social gatherings in a long time. Who hasn’t been at a party and thought to themselves, “Man, I really wish I could sing and play piano for Bohemian Rhapsody?” Luckily, just in case you didn’t buy a bundled Rock Band 3 pack with instruments, Mad Catz will be re-releasing the title this holiday with their own instruments.

Earlier in the year, Harmonix was sold to a private holding company and since then has been moving onto bigger and better things, including working on Dance Central 2 and supporting Rock Band 3. Mad Catz has decided to carry the torch and will be re-releasing Rock Band 3 bundles later this year, allowing players to purchase the game with instruments once more. Anticipated bundles will include the Wireless Keyboard, the Fender Stratocaster Wireless Guitar, and Wireless Fender Mustang PRO-Guitar controller.

If you haven’t picked up Rock Band 3 yet (why not?) and you can wait a little longer, you will be rewarded by picking up a nicely bundled edition of the game. Bundle prices have not been announced, but may be comparable to original bundle prices, around $150 or so.

Our review of Rock Band 3 was extremely positive and once you get your hand on the game yourself, you’ll see why. There is very little else to say about the game, other than play it, you will not regret it. In fact, by you not playing Rock Band 3 right now, you should be very sad.

Rock Band 3 is out now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii.
