Lollipop Chainsaw Doom 3 BFG Edition Naughty Bear Trailers

Teddies, aliens, and zombies, oh my! Two big announcements have come our way and one spectacular trailer that is looking for a big launch this June. Witness below the return of one bad teddy in Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise, the Doom 3: BFG Edition, and the combat trailer for Lollipop Chainsaw.

505 Games and Behaviour Interactive would like to re-introduce Naught Bear in Panic in Paradise. Shunned as an outcast by the residents of Perfect Island, Naughty Bear is looking for some payback when they all head to Paradise Island.

Panic in Paradise promises players to bring back everything they loved about the first game and raising it to the next level. With a new combat system, new ways to level up, equipment customization, and over 30 missions, Naughty Bear: Panic In Paradise should be a good sequel. Check out the announcement trailer below:

Victoria Reeve, senior global brand manager of 505 Games looks forward to fan reactions to the next installment of the Naughty Bear franchise:

“Following the success of our first outing with Naughty Bear, we really wanted to push the limits and give players a lot more freedom to be as naughty as they can and help Naughty Bear get revenge on the other bears who have been so mean to him. With the first Naughty Bear game audiences responded well to the juxtaposition of cuddly innocence, dark humor and over the top violence.  We’re really looking forward to seeing what they make of all the great new features we’ve packed into Naughty Bear Panic in Paradise.”

We weren't too keen on the original (check out our review of Naughty Bear), but hopefully the next chapter of the series has worked out the kinks.

Naughty Bear: Panic In Paradise will be out this fall for XBLA and PSN.

Another recent announcement - the Doom 3: BFG Edition from Bethesada Software. The once critically acclaimed Doom 3 will be getting a completely re-mastered re-release for its die-hard fans. Doom 3: BFG Edition will of course garner greatly enhanced graphics, but it will also host seven new levels as part of a new never-before-seen single-player story, "The Lost Mission." Technical director at id Software is very excited by this release:

“Today, the full experience has been enhanced and extended to be better than ever, and is delivered across all the platforms with a silky smooth frame rate and highly responsive controls.  New support for 3D TVs, monitors, and head mounted displays also allows players to experience the game with more depth than ever before. We think shooter fans everywhere will love it.”

Doom 3, Resurrection of Evil, and 'The Lost Mission' will be optimized for 3D play, feature 5.1 surround sound, new achievements for Xbox 360 and PS3 trophies, improved lighting and rendering, and a new check point save system for smoother progression. The multiplayer mode has also been enhanced.

As a special bonus, this title will also include the original Doom and Doom 2!

Doom 3: BFG Edition will be out later this year in Q4 for Xbox 360 and this will be the first time a Doom title will grace the PS3.

Not much else can be said about the colorful and vulgar gore fest that is Lollipop Chainsaw — enough with the videos, we want to play it already! But Grasshopper Manufacture says no, they want to deliver one more trailer just in case gamers haven't been convinced yet. Lollipop Chainsaw is going to be jam packed full of combat and skull bashing combos and it can be seen in this new "Combat Unleashed" trailer.

Juliet will have all kinds of weapons, unlockable costumes, unthinkable moves, and tons of upgrades at her disposal to eradicate the zombie-infested world. Watch her do her thing below:

One of the earlier trailers was exhilarating and fun. Our first hands-on preview at PAX East was exciting. If our word wasn't enough how about a word from horror guru James Gunn?

Lollipop Chainsaw hits stores June 12 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
