After a week of waiting for the release of LittleBigPlanet on the PSN, PSP Goers can finally look forward to the game debuting in Today’s update! Finally, we have official confirmation from Media Molecule brought to us in their recent “Sack it to Me“. The delay was caused due to technical difficulties, which Sony and Media Molecule have been hard at work on since last week.
This scenario seems oddly familiar to last year’s release of LittleBigPlanet on PS3 that saw the delay of the game by 1 week, although the game has been available via UMD for all the PSP users. The players who put in the extra coin for a fancy PSP Go however feel somewhat let down by Sony and their overall lack of support for the system.
The game is set to finally hit the Playstation Store sometime Today with an anticipated price point of $40.
Are you upset about the PSN delay? Are you excited to finally get your hands on LittleBigPlanet PSP?

Actually, i’m unhappy that the game is $40. We (my wife and I) just finished the PSP version of the game and it’s not remotely close to being worth the price tag. The PS3 version was easily worth it and we still played it. We got screwed over on the PSP though.
@ Strich
I’ve found the actual online level downloads, etc. have worked pretty well – adding limitless value to the title.
That said, at $40.00, I can’t really imagine most people picking up this version if they’ve got access to the PS3 version.
I’d much rather have the ps3 version.
