New ‘Legend of Zelda’ 3DS Bundle is a Collector’s Dream

 by

Hey! Listen! Have you been holding off on purchasing a Nintendo 3DS in hopes that a cool bundle would come along? Good news, the wait is finally almost over. Nintendo of Europe has just pulled the curtain off a brand new 3DS bundle that is being released in honor of The Legend of Zelda‘s 25th anniversary, and it looks absolutely beautiful. Zelda fans definitely won’t want to miss out on this one.

The bundle will include a 3DS system and a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and while that sounds like a fantastic bundle in and of itself, the portable has been decked out with one of the coolest Zelda-inspired paint jobs we’ve ever seen. The Nintendo 3DS handheld itself is black, but features a golden triforce decal right on the face of the device – as well as two golden ocarinas and golden harps that fill each of the four corners.

While it’s easy to be awed by the bundle’s design, let’s not forget that it comes with a remake of one of the best games ever released. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a must-own game for the portable (that much is evident if you read our review), so the fact that it’s part of the packaged deal is not even close to a bad thing.

Navi-gate your way through pictures of the special edition Legend of Zelda Nintendo 3DS bundle below.

The limited edition Legend of Zelda-themed Nintendo 3DS bundle is confirmed to be galloping to Europe on November 25th with a cost of €199 (or around £169.99 in the UK). There’s currently no confirmation that this bundle will be released in North America, but hopefully that problem will be addressed soon. There are plenty of diehard fans of the series here, so it just makes sense to get this package into their hands as soon as possible.

  1. It’s so gorgeous! *drools* I should’ve guessed they would do this eventually. theres always a special zelda addition and i done and got both zelda and the 3ds the day they came out >.>

  2. OMG!!! I’m glad I didn’t rush to get a 3DS even though I have both Mario Land and Mario Kart preordered. I’m going to wait for this one :D DDD

  3. I didn’t get anything in the DS line. But I am such a Zelda fanboy I am required to get this.

  4. Want! I’ve been holding out on a 3DS, but the more games they announce the more interested I become. This, however is something I will definitely buy if it comes to the U.S.

  5. America won’t get it. Nintendo of America has been giving us bare minimum as of late. Really hate them right now.

  6. Oh, something american gamers want, lets not release it to them!

    • FU we got them on black friday here and I got it for 150$

  7. They should have added the extra circle pad sans attachment. That would have been something special.

    • Agreed. The only problem with that is that games that support an extra circle pad won’t be launching until sometime next year.

  8. True. I guess too that I had been under the impression the attachment itself had already been released. It wouldn’t make any since to release any version of the 3DS 2.0 prior to it’s release. It still would have been a cool bonus though.
