If you have an Xbox 360 and a copy of Left 4 Dead 2 but aren’t interested in paying the monthly subscription fees to play online, you’re in luck! Well, for one weekend anyway.
Normally, online play is reserved for only Xbox Live Gold subscribers but from Friday, January 15 at 17:00pm GMT, until Monday, January 18 at the same time, regular silver membership users will be able to join in on the zombie-killing fun.
I’m guessing the other million bought it for the 4-player local co-op options and don’t need to play with strangers over the internet. That’s a hint to all other developers out there to start utilizing the multiple controller functionality of the current gen consoles. (Yes, I’m looking at you Infinity Ward and your 2-player only spec ops mode and lack of co-op in campaign in Modern Warfare 2).
Does this deal affect you?

The boyf plays online occasionally but he always gets stuck w/ crappy team members. We play offline co-op a lot. It’s the one game we can play w/o arguing
.He’s impatient and I have to collect and check out everything on the screen. That’s why we don’t play the Lego games anymore
haha,
Maybe you guys can get along with LEGO Universe – MUST WATCH:

Ya, I just can’t imagine that most people who picked up a copy of Left 4 Dead 2 aren’t already gold members. Can there really be that many people who play this game offline?
That said, top game to not play with significant others? Definitely New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
i might still be playing this game if it had more than 5 damn levels
how can they charge full price for these?
