Coming later this year, players will assume the role of two kiwi birds in the upcoming cooperative game KeyWe. However, it won't be as simple as running the post office; varying weather conditions and wacky factors like paranormal activity will add challenges to the game.

KeyWe is in the same vein as cooperative games like Overcooked and Moving Out. One player each will control the kiwi birds, Jeff and Debra, two new hires at the post office. However, the post office was designed for more human-sized creatures, thus creating a bit of a challenge for Jeff and Debra. They have to work together to get tasks done while battling with the various obstacles faced in their day-t0-day activities.

Each level is presented as a daily shift in the post office, and each day will be different from the last. With each new level in KeyWe, the game will put a twist on what Jeff and Debra learned the day before. Thanks to varying conditions like weather from changing seasons, carnivorous plants, issues with the post office, and even paranormal activity.

Tasks in Stonewheat & Sons' debut game will include writing letters letter by letter or word by word and getting the mail sent out on time, similar to getting meals out on time in Overcooked. As months in-game pass, Jeff and Debra's responsibilities will get increasingly complex, meaning that communication and collaboration between players is important.

Players will also be able to customize the way their kiwis look. Even though they play as Jeff and Debra, their feather color and outfits are fully customizable. KeyWe can be played locally or online, and if players choose to, a single-player mode is available where a gamer can control both Jeff and Debra.

KeyWe is set to launch Summer 2021 for PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
