Monthly Game Guide June

Plenty of high profile titles were shown off at E3 this year, and while we can’t wait to dig into them, most of these games won’t be releasing for a few more months. But fret not, gamers, there are still plenty of releases coming this June!

Vita owners can look forward to the highly anticipated Gravity Rush this month, in addition to a port of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, while PSP owners who still haven’t upgraded to Sony’s new handheld can enjoy Gungnir. Sexy starlet Juliet takes center stage in Lollipop Chainsaw, and Pokemon lovers have Pokemon Conquest to look forward to on the DS.

Wow, looking forward to exactly none of those, lol. Which is good though, no money or time for a new game right now anyway. 😛

    • G

Yeah save your money for the fall. Although Civ 5 expansion should be good if your a PC gamer.

The first BF3 DLC is now out for PC players too… although it’s all indoor maps

I just bought Premium. Doing the math, it’s cheaper than buying the DLC’s separately. I really couldn’t care less about the other “perks” of premium, just trying to save $10 on the DLC’s, lol. But honestly, Armored Kill is really what I’m waiting for, the rest, we’ll see if they are alright… But having more options is never a bad thing…

          • G

the new maps are really fun. I like them. I hope armored kill has enough vehicles on the maps that almost everyone is in one. I hate it when people spawn camp waiting for vehicles.

They’re alright. I have to say they put a whole hell of a lot of detail into them. I’m glad these map packs don’t look like they just slapped something together and put out their hand for money. But I still like the large-scale battles with the vehicles screaming by and things exploding. Nothing can replace that. :-)

I don’t know if it’s a glitch or what, but on the PC, there are 64 and 32 player servers playing those small Close Quarters maps. It’s pretty cool with that many people, lol.

thats awesome! wish ps3 had 64 player maps…

also, gmerant never did a review for socom multiplayer, because of the psn outing…

I’m most looking forward to Dead GOTY Edition because I really want Dead Island, and for only $30 the GOTY Edition is no-brainer for me.

I’m also interested in DiRT Showdown because I love sprint car/dirt racing games, and there’s only one other one currently available for PS3 (World of Outlaws: Sprint Cars), which sucked. So once the price goes down, I think I’ll pick it up.

Those are the only 2 games coming out in June that I want.
