It's no secret that PlayStation's crossover-fueled beat 'em up wasn't as well received as the company had hoped — Sony even severed ties with the game's developer, SuperBot Entertainment, shortly after the game's launch — but that hasn't stopped additional DLC from making its way onto the PSN. The latest batch of content introduced Gravity Rush's Kat and Starhawk's Emmett Graves to PlayStation All-Stars, and now Sony has confirmed that two more recognizable combatants will be joining the fray.

Everyone's favorite expert of dismemberment, Isaac Clarke, will be making an appearance, with his trademark armor and arsenal from the Dead Space series in tow. Isaac will also be joined by Kratos' archenemy Zeus, the Greek god who's decked out with mythological lightning abilities. Each character, like every other member of the Battle Royale roster, will have unique movesets that set them apart from other fighters. Zeus, for example, is a heavy character that's similar to Big Daddy, while Isaac is a mid-range brawler that's reminiscent of Jak and Nathan Drake.

PlayStation All-Stars Dead Space DLC

Of course, this content wouldn't be nearly as much fun to play with if it wasn't accompanied by a new level of some sort, and Sony plans on offering fans of PS All-Stars just that. The new battleground is based on the worlds of MediEvil and The Unfinished Swan, creating an entirely new stage that blends elements and characters from each respective title together in a fun way.

Price points for the downloadable characters and level are still to be determined (although the previous stage ran consumers $1.99), but these add-ons will be arriving in a relatively quick fashion. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale owners can look forward to pitting the Dead Space universe against the likes of God of War when all of this content hits the PlayStation Network on March 19th.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is available now for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
