"Outlaws to the end." It's not just the slogan of Red Dead Redemption, it's also the name of the game's first co-op mission pack, releasing on June 22 for the low price of 'free.'

Rockstar has put up some information and screens for their Facebook fans regarding one of the missions in the pack, called "The Kidnapped Girl." As you may have guessed, there's a girl, she's been kidnapped, and it's up to you and your posse to get her back. Rockstar puts it this way:

"In 'The Kidnapped Girl,' another gang has taken over Fort Mercer, and they’re holding a farmer’s daughter hostage."

"You and your crew will need to charge the fort and eliminate the gang with all firepower necessary — then fend off enemy reinforcements as you transport the girl by stagecoach safely to her home at Ridgewood Farm."

Those itching to rain destruction down upon banditos at Fort Mercer again will soon have their prayers answered. And hell, who doesn't like rescuing a damsel in distress and running her back to safety while bad guys are shooting at you? There's something about doing it with horses that makes it a lot cooler than using cars. The journey itself doesn't seem too challenging, especially if your posse is a set of crack shots. Plus, it's only the first of six missions that are going to be free, which are sure to be a most welcome sight for any Red Dead owners.

Below lie the screens Rockstar posted. Peruse at will.
