At the Hollywood premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teased the future return of Eternals star Harry Styles as Eros.

Feige, who has served as a producer on non-MCU projects stemming back to Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man trilogy, is known for being tight-lipped on what's next for Marvel Studios. As he spoke with the media at the No Way Home premiere, Feige kept future plans close to his chest but provided a hopeful answer to a question about one Eternals star's future in the MCU.

Before Spider-Man: No Way Home hit theaters, Feige took time during the film's Hollywood premiere to excite fans about what may lie on the horizon for Marvel Studios. During the premiere, Feige spoke with Entertainment Tonight, who asked him about the surprising arrival of Styles in the Eternals post-credits scene. He called Styles' appearance a, "fun teaser tag at the end of the movie." Feige went on to praise the Starfox character, acknowledging that there are fans of Styles' character both in and outside of Marvel Studios. Feige concluded his statement by teasing, "As the MCU is continued into the cosmic arena, there are ideas."

Eros is the brother of Thanos, who has already died in the MCU twice. Eros remained unseen and unmentioned prior to his appearance in the post-credits of Eternals, though he doesn't seem to harbor the same power-hungry ideals as his brother. In the post-credits scene, Eros was joined by Pip the Troll, who triumphantly announced the arrival of Eros aboard the Domo. The two interrupted the mission the Eternals were embarking on to tour the cosmos in search of the remaining Celestials. Eros announced that he knew where to find the recently abducted Phastos, Kingo, and Sersi and that he could help Thena, Makkari, and Druig get them back.

Eternals is not the only recent Marvel Studios project that sets up an exploration of the universe's cosmic structure. Previous films such as Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy have begun to tap into the mystical land that lies overhead, but recent Disney Plus series including WandaVision, Loki, and What If...? have begun to introduce more complicated cosmic matters. WandaVision saw the first effects of the opening of the Multiverse, which has already begun to result in serious consequences for some Marvel heroes. Loki continued to build on it and No Way Home will capitalize on it before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness releases in theaters next year.

The exact fate for Eros or any of the other Eternals remains to be seen, though elements of Eternals' ambiguous ending certainly leaves room for the Celestials to make a return to the MCU. Feige's comments typically keep Marvel fans on their toes and his words at the Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere are no different. To test Feige's theory, fans will have to wait to see what's in store for the great adventurer and Royal Prince of Titan.

Eternals will be released on Disney Plus on January 12, 2022.
