Adding to the numerous Grand Theft Auto 6 rumors that have made the rounds this year, a new leaker claims to have insider knowledge on one of the franchise’s most beloved recurring features. Coming in via Reddit, a list of supposed songs that will make an appearance on the soundtrack of the franchise's next entry has dropped, including some famous names from a variety of different genres.

The Reddit poster in question, Temperaturerising45, took to the platform yesterday to cite a list of songs he heard when supposedly viewing the yet to be announced sixth entry in the series. The lengthy list of tracks features the likes of Childish Gambino’s Redbone, Eminem’s The Real Slim Shady, and Nirvana’s Lithium, as well as Guns and Roses’ Sweet Child Of Mine and Bob Marley’s No Woman, No Cry. The Reddit user went on to cite a whopping 24 songs that will supposedly be making their way to Grand Theft Auto 6, finishing by claiming that’s all he could remember from his time viewing the game.

This isn’t the first time Temperaturerising45’s handle has popped up in regards to Grand Theft Auto 6 rumors recently, with the Reddit poster claiming to have insider knowledge on GTA 6 just over a week ago. In his original post, he cited the game taking place in both the cities of San Fierro and Las Venturas, the Grand Theft Auto equivalents to San Francisco and Las Vegas. He also claimed the game would star both a male and female protagonist and would allow players to visit Area 51, an amusement park, a flea market, and a zoo.

If this new leak is to be believed, it looks like Rockstar is still as committed as ever to delivering a wide and varied soundtrack in its newest take on the Grand Theft Auto universe. The franchise has had a strong relationship with music for years now, each game featuring a lengthy list of tracks evocative of the time period the game’s set in. The series’ last entry, Grand Theft Auto 5, had a soundtrack composed of various different tracks from a variety of artists and eras, including Kendrick Lamar, Dr Dre and Queen.

Of course, it is wise to remain somewhat skeptical when viewing Reddit leaks of this nature. Rumors surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6 and Rockstar's other future projects are practically a dime a dozen these days, and with leaks being debunked regularly, it’s worth taking these posts with a grain of salt until Rockstar opts to give us some more information. Regardless, Temperaturerising45’s post is no doubt exciting for fans, listing some classic and contemporary tracks that will spice up Grand Theft Auto’s radio station playlists if the leak turns out to be true.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is rumored to be in development for unspecified platforms.
