Grand Theft Auto V didn't get its own booth or official representation at E3 (given that its release is currently limited to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, it might have even seemed out of place amidst the next-gen fervor), but that's not stopping Rockstar Games from giving their fans a reminder of what's on the way. The game got a mention during Sony's presentation, where it was announced that Grand Theft Auto V can be bought as part of a $299 PS3 bundle that includes a copy of the game, a 500GB PS3 and a 30-day subscription to PlayStation Plus.

For audiophiles, Sony also announced a new custom headset designed to celebrate the release of the game called the 'Grand Theft Auto V Pulse - Elite Edition', as well as a free downloadable audio mode for the headset which takes advantage of the Pulse - Elite Edition's BassImpact technology to give a little more oomph to crashes and explosions. The headset is priced at $179.99, however, so it might be best suited to gamers with lots of spare cash, or those who really love the sound of things blowing up.

To go with the announcement of the new bundle and headset, Rockstar has added a new batch of screenshots from the game to the fast-growing gallery. As well as revealing a new anti-hero shot for each of the three playable protagonists - Michael, Trevor and Franklin - the screenshots also give a closer look at the various modes of transportation in the game.

One of the screenshots hails the return of the Cropduster as the aircrafts that the player will be able to pilot in the game. Long gone are the days of furiously attempting to get the Dodo more than ten feet off the ground in Grand Theft Auto III, but while GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas had a fairly wide selection of aircraft, including the awesome jetpack in the latter, Grand Theft Auto IV limited the player to only two different varieties of helicopters, and no airplanes at all. Considering the amount of fun that can be had from the ability to travel at (and crash from) great heights, let's hope that the developers have provided a good range of aircraft for Grand Theft Auto V.

A brand new addition to the franchise is the ability to explore bodies of water with the aid of a scuba diving kit that allows them to search for treasure in shipwrecks off the city's coast. While CJ could swim underwater for short periods in GTA: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto V seems to have made life below the ocean a more substantial part of the game, and one which should be interesting to explore.

Excited for Grand Theft Auto V? Disappointed that it wasn't at E3? Tell us what you think of the new bundle and headset - as well as these screenshots - in the comments.
