Despite the bugs and delays surrounding GTA Online back in 2013, the latest installment in the Rockstar-developed game has proven to be one of the best in the franchise's history. Grand Theft Auto 5 won multiple Game of the Year awards before being ported to current-gen consoles and with the recent release on PC, the game is now available on nearly every major platform. Although the game received stellar reviews and positive feedback from the player community, that doesn't mean PC gamers can't attempt to make a few improvements to the GTA experience.

Although the modding community is somewhat limited when it comes to GTA Online mods that could interfere with the game's balance, there is still the opportunity to be creative in the PC port. We've already seen mods turn the game's protagonists into ragdolls and drop snow onto Los Santos, and the latest mod gives players super powers with a high-tech gravity gun.

The mod takes the game's already entertaining stun gun and transforms it into a full on energy field manipulator. The high-powered tool, created in-mod form by MatriZ, gives users the power to pick up vehicles and hurl them through the streets of Los Santos as if they were weightless. Check out the video above to see the tool in action.

PC gamers who want in on the fun will need to install Script Hook in a compatible version of the game. Once that is in place, the next step is to download the Gravity Gun mod and add it to the proper folder. Double check the mod instructions for details, but after the folder is in place, players should be able to harness the power of the altered weapon.

The mod has a few restrictions that users should keep in mind, as well. Players will not be able to pick up cars that have passengers in them, so users will need to either pull the drivers out of their vehicles or just pick up a car that is parked and vacant. As long as users follow that rule, they should be able to recklessly throw cars around like those kids from Chronicle or the villains in Man of Steel.

We've seem Rockstar deal with a few problems surrounding mods, but so far the community still seems pretty satisfied with the game's support. The backlash against the paid Skyrim mods has taken the brunt of the latest criticisms from fans of mods, so GTA5's problems seem pretty small in comparison. We look forward to seeing what else the community comes up with.
