'God of War: Ghost of Sparta' Gets a Release Date and Pre-Order Goodies

God of War: Ghost of Sparta has finally been given a North American release date, but the good folks at Sony have also revealed some exclusive content that can only be obtained by you pre-ordering the game.

Sony has finally announced the release date for the PSP's upcoming game God of War: Ghost of Sparta. Mark your calendars for November 2nd because this is in fact the day that you can finally get your hands on the second Kratos filled romp on the PSP. Along with God of War: Ghost of Sparta release details Sony has announced the bonuses that come when you pre-order the title.

The pre-order bonus revealed has been given the name The Ultimate DLC Pack, which is certainly an exaggeration. Still, there are a ton of extras that make this DLC pack one of the best I've seen so far.

Not too shabby I suppose, and it is way better than the Halo: Reach pre-order bonus that was announced a few weeks ago. Personally, I don't tend to watch the documentary bonuses, but I know that there is a crowd amongst our readers who marvel in some of the interviews and a brief history on the development cycle. However, it is a pretty solid pre-order bonus for any fans of the franchise who want the "complete experience" plus some additional content.

The Ultimate DLC Pack is only available at participating retailers, so be sure to ask what the store is offering before you throw down your $5. You can reserve your copy of God of War: Ghost of Sparta starting right now, and you can look forward to receiving it on November 2nd only on PSP.
