While the recently released God of War 3 might be the end of the trilogy, it isn’t the end of the franchise. And a little secret unlocked by beating the game might point towards a future installment.
Those who have already managed to ravage their way through the game, and earned themselves a Platinum trophy in the process, will have found a link to the website http://www.spartansstandtall.com. Going to this site takes you to a sub-site of the official God Of War website and… not much else.
At the moment the site shows an ocean, rain, and the occasional flash of lightning; in the top right hand corner is a four section shield with Spartan helmet insignias on it and an upside down V. The fact that only one quarter seems to be filled may hint that more information will be released in time.
Could it be a new God Of War game? Will it be a new PS3 title or maybe even a sequel to God Of War: Chains Of Olympus on the PSP. Leave us your thoughts and speculations!

If it is a new related game, I welcome it.

I'm ready to leave this franchise in the dust. The more I think about God of War III the more I think it's the best looking PS2 game ever…
It's a solid game but Santa Monica Studio just hasn't pushed the envelope with anything but the epic-ness of the game.
Its not an upside down “V”. It is the symbol of the spartans. Not trying to be a jerk.
this is funny…
LOL
Really. So lets see the 360 as a current gen take on those graphics. Just saying shut your mouth. You are trying to sound all cute and funny with your stupid cliche “best looking PS2 game ever” crap. That is funny you cant think of something on your own. Have fun being a fanboy. Have a nice day and enjoy your RROD.
PS: I say that as someone with loads of respect for Sony and don't mean any disrespect toward the game but, for the most part, God of War III is just a bigger, more fluid version of the previous God of War games.
Maybe V symbolises 5 in roman numerals which would make sense because it would be the 5th game
Another article on GameRant, says that Kratos and greek mythology are done. He doesnt know where it goes from here. Plus again its the Spartan symbol not an upside down V. Kratos being a spartan. That being their symbol.
I'm surprised no one else caught Zeus saying “you should have picked the other one” to Gaia. My guess, we are going to have a non-Kratos character attempting to restore balance to the chaotic world.
It'll be interesting to see how they do it since all the Gods are picking turnips with a step ladder.
In the lightning you can see Kratos in the water.
