So far Genshin Impact has released three out of siven major nations to the game which include the first city Mondstadt, the Geo-themed region of Liyue, and the recently revealed islands of Inazuma. It seems as though another smaller region is on its way and it will most likely be a part of Inazuma.

Genshin Impact version 2.3 livestream has officially confirmed the arrival two Geo users Arataki Itto and Gorou. Both of these characters have already been revealed on the official Genshin Impact Version 2.3. As per usual, version 2.3 has not arrived yet and new leaks are already emerging about the upcoming updates.

One of the most popular Genshin Impact leakers out there has revealed additional information about a new upcoming region. Most fans were speculating that the new region will most likely be either Chasm or Enkanomiya. Chasm has been listed on the in-game map, positioned southwest to the Liyue region which means that it will be a part of the game sooner or later. However, recent leaks have hinted that a new character will be released alongside Enkanomiya.

The leak does not confirm the exact release date of a new region but it's certain that it will arrive before update 3.0. He also reveals additional information about upcoming characters hinting that Ayaka's brother, Ayato, should be released in one of the upcoming updates. He will be followed by two characters, one of which is speculated to be Scaramouche who has already made many appearances in some of the game's cutscenes and is widely considered to be one of the upcoming Genshin Impact characters.

Chasm is probably one of the most anticipated regions in the game since it's tied with the infamous Dendro element. Dendro is the only unplayable Element in the game at the moment and players think that it's finally the time for a new Element to be introduced to the game. There are already multiple characters related to this region with Baizhu and Yaoyao being the most popular examples. There were also a couple of leaks claiming that Yunjin could be a Dendro character as well but it's highly unlikely. The only credible leak on this topic is that Yunjin is a four-star character to be released in the foreseeable future.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
