Genshin Impact's vast character roster keeps expanding with each new update and so does the need for different weapons and artifacts which could take a character's potential to the next level.

Artifacts have always been one of the core features of a good Genshin Impact build that can make all the difference, especially in the latter stages of the game considering that the Spiral Abyss has become harder with each update.

A Genshin Impact leak revealed more details about two new artifact sets that will arrive in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 2.6. The first artifact set is called Vermillion Hereafter, and it has the following effects:

  • Two-piece bonus: Increases Attack by 18%
  • Four-piece bonus: After using an Elemental burst, the character will gain the Nascent Light effect which increases his Attack by 8% for 16 seconds. If the character loses HP, this bonus will increase by 10% stacking up to four times. It should be noted that the effect will stop once the character leaves the field or if an Elemental Burst is used again.

The second set is called Echoes of an Offering, and it has a similar effect:

  • Two-piece bonus: Increases Attack by 18%
  • Four-piece bonus: When Normal Attacks hit opponents, there is a 36% chance that it will trigger an effect called Valley Rite which increases Normal Attack damage by 60% of the users Attack stats. If a Normal Attack fails to trigger this effect, the odds will increase by an additional 20% for the next Attack.

The first artifact set is made for selfish DPS characters considering that the four-pice bonus is active only if the user is on the field. Selfish DPS characters are only effective when they are on the field, and they provide almost nothing once they leave the field. The two main characters that come to mind when talking about this small DPS subclass are Xiao and Razor. Xiao has become much more popular since his appearance on another Genshin Impact double banner re-run in the previous update.

The second artifact could be useful for the recently announced Hydro user, Kamisato Ayato. Previous leaks have already revealed that his ascension stats are Crit damage which most likely means that he will be a strong Genshin Impact DPS character. His elemental burst periodically deals Hydro damage in a large area, so there is a chance that he could also have sub-DPS capabilities. However, players who choose to fit him in this role should probably choose another artifact set.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, and a Nintendo Switch version in development.
