Still haven’t decided where to pre-order your copy of Bungie’s highly-anticipated Halo: Reach?
Well, look no further because GameStop just sweetened the deal for people ready to reserve the game — new armor. Anyone who likes to make sure that their Spartan wins best dressed will probably need these exclusive pieces of fashion history, and the same goes for anyone else who just wants to T-bag n00bz in something that looks bad-ass.
On top of the armor options, GameStop will also provide orderers with a $20 gift certificate – but only if you pre-order Halo: Reach on their site. Personally, a couple of “exclusive” armor pieces don’t really seem all that great, but it sure as hell is better than nothing (the $20 gift card is a nice addition too).

I think it would have been even better if they included a pre-order bonus like “Unlock Master Chief in Halo: Reach’s Campaign” or “Play as Arbiter in Halo: Reach’s Multiplayer.” Exclusives that include characters (i.e. Sgt. Johnson in ODST) are always the coolest pre-order incentives in my opinion.
GameStop pre-orderees can look forward to showing off their armor when Halo: Reach launches on September 14, 2010.

I’m down. I mean, why not? Free stuff, hell yea. Especially when I could get the free stuff and $20 online toward Gamestop off my next purchase, rather than going to the store when it comes out and having to wait and see if any more copies are left by the time the midnighters wipe them all out before 2:00am and STILL having to pay the same price as the pre order… Yea, I think I’ll stick with pre-ordering it, plus the $20 online card is almost like a rebate. And yea, the armor really doesn’t have much of a purpose besides looking bad ass, but hey, it’s free. Am I right or am I right? Besides, It’s better to have something and don’t need it, than to need something and don’t have it. Peace out.

if i pre order and there are two people in the transation only one of us gets the armor right?
I”ve been wondering the same thing.I am hoping either it’s all one code or it comes on the disk.The only problem is if it is all one code then everyone would have it.
i wish i could get it from gamestop but they wont ship american copies to germany so i had to go with amazon and miss out on all of the cool stuff halo is my favorite game so im really wishing i could have gotten this armor
