The upcoming fourth episode of Game of Thrones finally has a release date, which was announced alongside a seemingly spoiler-heavy trailer via TellTale Games. The above trailer goes over every relevant member of House Forrester, which makes it likely that the episode will run longer than average - though to be fair, gamers have waited long enough for the episode. It's due out early next week, marking the end to what has been the longest wait between episodes for the entire first season of Game of Thrones so far.

Thankfully, the trailer seems to indicate that 'Sons of Winter' will contain no shortage of action to keep fans entertained, with several plot lines eagerly building up towards their climaxes for the season, which is now on the latter-side of its six episode run. Both Westeros and Essos will be hosts to plenty of combat, intrigue, and the intense kind of choices that make gamers wind down the clock. House Forrester sits on the brink of destruction, and 'Sons of Winter' looks like it will present more opportunities than any other episode for them to claw themselves out.

It's clear that Gared Tuttle will face a choice beyond The Wall between his vows to House Forrester and his vows to the Night's Watch, where he was sworn in during the third episode. With the events at Craster's Keeper being covered heavily in the show during HBO's last season, it wouldn't be surprising if the game will force players to search for a certain Grove as opposed to attending the fight. Regardless of their intentions - and clearly as a result of certain events - Jon Snow is ready to punish them for forsaking their vows (an ironic move, considering his actions from the show).

Beshka's backstory has always hinted at dark times in Meereen, and those seem to be taking their tole on her in the fourth episode. We'd guess that Asher will find out exactly why before he's clear of Meereen, though the upcoming episode looks like it'll mainly focus on his negotiations with Daenerys Targaryen. The Mother of Dragons is actively invading the slave-trading city, and getting Asher to sneak in should provide ample single combat situations for him to jump into. The voice of Daenerys is supplied by none other than Emilia Clarke, and fans will no doubt be looking forward to hearing her performance in bigger portions than they did at the end of the third episode.

TellTale's take on Game of Thrones is all about House Forrester, so it only makes sense that the biggest piece of action for the episode seems to take place in Ironwrath, their rightful home. Finding themselves more-or-less held hostage within their own walls and subject to constant humiliation from their over-the-top villainous occupiers, it looks like the a certain helpful source will present House Forrester with a golden opportunity to secure more soldiers, whilst at the same time getting revenge one of Whitehill's sons. Granted, nothing is ever given easily in Game of Thrones - if they kill a fourthborn son of the Whitehills, it's likely Rodrick's younger brother Ryon will be in grave danger.

What do you think about the trailer, Ranters? Do you have any predictions about the upcoming fourth episode?
