Epic Games has unveiled the official theme for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. Each season of Fortnite has had its own theme, going back to the very first season's slogan of First Flight. The theme typically prioritizes sounding cool first, while hinting at changes to the battle royale or story elements. In other words, the theme for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 isn't going to spoil what will come next season, but it should help build some excitement on the eve of Fortnite's seasonal transition.Over the past two weeks, Fortnite has been teasing the upcoming seasonal change, though in a confusing move the tweets have all now been deleted. The teasers have featured a pool of chrome liquid with a hand reaching out as if they're sinking in the liquid. The hands come from different characters, though the only recognizable hand has been for Spider-Gwen. Other teasers have included chrome dripping over a cereal box and other objects.RELATED: Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 5 Release Date Leaks OnlineThe official theme for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is Paradise. The official teaser art features the Fortnite logo as well as the word Paradise in all capital letters hovering above what looks like a pool of iridescent chrome liquid. There's no real clue as to what the liquid is or how the theme ties into it. Fortnite players will just have to find out on their own.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 will go offline Saturday night at 11:00 PM PT or Sunday early morning at 2:00 AM ET. Exactly when the servers will come back online for Season 4 isn't entirely clear, but Fortnite players can expect a new Season 4 trailer and an accompanying battle pass video as soon as Season 3 ends. The trailers should reveal the bulk of surprises that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 will be based on.

Paradise implies that the island Fortnite is based on will be the perfect place to have fun, perhaps a continuation of Season 3's Vibin' theme. Fortnite's past history of conflict, not to mention the teasers featuring characters drowning in chrome, imply that Paradise may be an ironic theme.

After the extended Season 3 over the summer, Fortnite players likely won't be too worried about what Season 4's theme is. It'll just be good to have something happening in Fortnite's story again and to have the world moving forward. Paradise, in that regard, is a fitting name, as paradise for Fortnite players is new content.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
