Fortnite players have been absolutely spoiled with cool character skins over the current season. It's not just Marvel and DC Comics characters, but PlayStation and Xbox characters, too. Whether or not someone buys one of Fortnite's new character skins, there's a lot of fun to be had just in experiencing each skin get revealed. Epic goes out of its way to do teasers and trailers that add to the experience in always-interesting ways. Such is the case with the next rumored Fortnite character skin for Ant-Man.

In a recently-shared Twitter message, Epic Games gave Fortnite players a major hint at who is coming next. The tweet says that many Marvel heroes and villains have already come to Fortnite's island. However, there may be one that's been forgotten. The image in the tweet shows X-Force members Domino, Cable, and Psylocke, who have all had skins released already. Watchful Fortnite players may notice that there's a less-obvious character hidden in the image, however.

Standing on Cable's arm is none other than a miniaturized Ant-Man. Or, at least, Ant-Man is who everyone is assuming. They're very small in the image, so even zooming in doesn't make it entirely clear that it's Ant-Man. It does look like it's Ant-Man, but he isn't the only Marvel character that can control their size. Ant-Man's definitely the most popular of those characters, however, at least in the Marvel universe.

Epic's teaser isn't the only reason to believe that Ant-Man is going to be added to the game, either. Teasers including the appearance of Ant Manor in Season 4, game files referencing a "Small Fry," and the recent discovery of an audio file that seems Ant-Man-like, if that's a thing, point toward Ant-Man's addition. All that's left is for Epic Games and Marvel to make it official. The surprise has run its course by now.

Fortnite seems to have an endless stream of new skins available in the game week to week. Ant-Man is just one of many. Other skins include the Fortnite Switch Cup 3 Cyprus Nell Intergalactic Warrior skin for top-performers, Harley Quinn and other skins from the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point collaboration, the Marigold Midas skin, and more.

At some point, one would think Fortnite players would stop buying skins, since they likely have a favorite that suits them perfectly. But with such major crossover partnerships like Marvel, DC, Star Wars, God of War, and more, there's always a fun new skin that looks like it'd be just a bit better than what players already have.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
