Bethesda releases the most recent patch for Fallout 4 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, complete with bug fixes, memory enhancements, and stability improvements.

Fallout 4's 1.3 patch that was released for PC last week is now live for console versions of the post-apocalyptic RPG as well, and as everyone expected, it brings about a bevy of updates. On top of the standard inclusion of bug fixes, developer Bethesda also made note on its official Twitter account that the newest update for Fallout 4 "dramatically increases object fading distances", and provided a video comparison in the tweet for proof, which can be found below.

Perhaps more important than the object fading upgrade, though, is the fix of a glitch in Fallout 4 that caused players to be warped to a completely different location when aiming down their weapon's sights. Not to mention, the most recent update also rectifies a rather annoying problem involving the possibility of gamers' characters being dismembered while still being alive.

The 1.3 patch was originally supposed to be released for all platforms last week, but strangely enough, it didn't come about as originally planned. Of course, PC players still received what some consider to be the coolest update yet, which is the inclusion of weapon debris effects and destructible environments. And although console fans didn't get the feature, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were at least given all that's necessary to keep the game running smoothly, as found in the full patch notes below:

Speaking of the non-PC versions of Fallout 4, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players of Bethesda's open world title are still patiently waiting on the studio to release official console mod news following an announcement that fans would be receiving information about the availability of the Garden of Eden Creation Kit mod tools for their systems. As of writing, however, Bethesda has yet to deliver any word on the matter.

With the company having implied that a bulletin about the issue was imminent, though, it's highly possible for a statement to arrive within the month, especially since the game's director, Todd Howard, confirmed the mod tools' release date for "early 2016."

Considering the slew of updates having already taken place for Fallout 4 since its launch back in November 2015, it's a wonder if the title's forthcoming Season Pass and DLC will require as much attention as the base game has with all of the patches thus far. With any luck, the expansion materials and official mod tools will be included as seamlessly as possible.

With developers' providing continuous updates to Fallout 4 post-launch, it's only a matter of time before most, if not all of the kinks get worked out of the system. Hopefully, Bethesda will remain diligent in ironing out the bugs, and will be able to lay the groundwork for an easy incorporation of future add-ons for the title.

Fallout 4 is out now and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
