After months of waiting, Fallout 4 players using an Xbox One can finally install the full dialogue interface mod to experience a more traditional Bethesda experience.

With the recent release of Fallout 4's Far Harbor DLC, many gamers are turning to the Boston wasteland for another adventure. One of the best parts of the DLC expansion is that the game's bare bones dialogue options have been beefed up to match the franchise's usual branching decision trees. Thanks to a Fallout 4 mod previously only available on PC, Xbox One owners can now add that full dialogue interface to the core game, as well.

When Fallout 4 launched, the limited dialogue tree preview text was one of the main complaints from veterans of the franchise. The PC community quickly modded a fix for the nitpick with the full dialogue interface. After about half a year of waiting, Microsoft is now starting to roll out the most popular PC mods on the Xbox One and console gamers will be happy to hear that the full dialogue interface is available for download today.

Users can visit the official Bethesda mod page for more details about the full dialogue interface mod and the other available tweaks to the game. Here are the basic specs for the full dialogue interface mod, in case you missed it when it launched for the PC...

"The Full Dialogue Interface mod makes the game display the full lines of what your character is going to say in conversation, instead of just a paraphrase. It also revamps the interface so that the game will now display dialogue options in a list."

Players who want to use the mod can add it to their library from the Bethesda mod page and it will become available in the game once patch goes live at some point this morning. Keep in mind that the mod can be turned on mid-game, but achievements will be disabled during any play sessions with active mods. Losing the ability to rack up your gamer score is a small price to pay in exchange for the traditional Fallout style dialogue interface.
