The latest free DLC for Forza Motorsport 6 is now available to download, and consists of a Chryslus Rocket 69 car, which should be recognizable to Fallout 4 fans.

Those that have been playing Forza Motorsport 6 since the game launched last year have had no shortage of free cars to download, and today adds yet another one to the mix. Codes are now being sent out for players to download the second Fallout 4-themed vehicle available in Forza Motorsport 6 – this time in the form of the slick Chryslus Rocket 69.

To get a code for the Chryslus Rocket 69, players simply need to have played either Forza Motorsport 6 or Fallout 4 while connected to Xbox Live. Codes are being sent out in waves, with those that have already fulfilled the previous conditions being given first priority. Anyone that purchases and plays either game between now and the end of the month can expect to see their code at the beginning of May.

The Chryslus Rocket 69 joins the long list of Forza Motorsport 6 cars, and should make a welcome addition to anyone's vehicle collection in the game. Not only does the Chryslus Rocket 69 look great, but it's also unique, trading a steering wheel for jet fighter controls, and boasting "rocket ship handling." Furthermore, the Chryslus Rocket 69 is apparently capable of surpassing speeds of 200mph, which should make it one of the fastest cars in all of Forza 6.

The Chryslus Rocket 69 marks the end of the crossover promotion agreement between Bethesda and Turn 10 Studios, which started with a Fallout 4-themed Ford F100 that was made available near Fallout 4's launch. Even so, depending on the popularity of the Chryslus Rocket 69, it's possible that even more Fallout 4-themed cars could make their way to Forza Motorsport 6 in the future. Another possibility is that other Bethesda games could be represented in Forza 6 instead, such as the upcoming DOOM reboot, for instance.

In the meantime, it will be interesting to see if PC gamers will also have access to the Fallout 4-themed vehicles when the game makes its way to that platform. We know that that the PC version of Forza Motorsport 6 will be free-to-play and will rely heavily on microtransactions, so it's possible that if the Fallout 4 DLC does come to Forza 6 on PC, it won't be free like it is on Xbox One.

Regardless, PC gamers should be excited to have a chance to play Forza Motorsport 6, as we (along with many other outlets) gave Forza 6 high marks when it released last year, and for good reason. The game is a return to form for the core Forza franchise, and should delight any racing video game fan out there. Having vehicles based on properties such as Fallout 4 is just icing on the cake, though it may be enough to entice gamers that normally wouldn't bother with racing games to see what the Forza franchise is all about.

Forza Motorsport 6 is now available for Xbox One, with a free-to-play PC release coming soon.
