Hot on the heels of the Steam Summer Camp Sale, Electronic Arts has announced their own digital distribution bargain bin that boasts titles for PC, iOS devices, and consoles. Featuring games like Dead Space for the iPad/iPhone and Mass Effect 2 all at severely discounted rates, this sale might have come too late for those gamers who forked over a ton of cash on Steam’s goodies, but it is worth checking out for those just settling into the holiday.

The sale also focuses on EA’s digital distribution platform Origin, from which all of the PC titles are available, so if you haven’t given it a look now’s as good a chance as any.

Electronic Arts has proven they are no stranger to iOS sales, sometimes moving all of their popular titles into the top 20 in a matter of days, and this July 4th sale should be no different. While people might not be receiving iPads or iPods as gifts, they might certainly be looking for a little entertainment during the four-day weekend.

If you haven’t given Dead Space on the iPad a look — considering of course you own an iPad — it’s a highly recommended translation of the console experience. It makes great use of the gyroscope and multi-touch capabilities of the device to actually create a somewhat more immersive experience than what was found in Dead Space 2.

Or if you’re the type of gamer who loves to get together with the family for some quality gaming fun, Xbox Live’s Marketplace has a slew of EA’s video game versions of classic board games on sale. You might not be able to capture the tension of a real-life Jenga session, but something like Scrabble or Battleship makes great use of the added functionality.
