Madden Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees
Madden Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees

Since 2004 EA has been running Super Bowl simulations using Madden, on Xbox 360, to try to read the tea leaves of who will win the big game. This years sim between the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts resulted in what many people are assuming, a 35-31 shootout. Saints QB, Drew Brees walked away with the Super Bowl MVP after throwing for 3 TDs and nearly 300 yards.

Madden has been 5-1 since EA started running this simulation. The only blemish on their record thus far has been 2008, when Madden did not see the New York Giants upsetting the New England Patriots. The closest Madden has been to being perfect was last year. The sim produced a Steelers, 28-24, win over the Cardinals. The real score of that game ended up being 27-23, Steelers.
