Check out the Game Rant crew’s live reporting from The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles for Electronic Arts E3 2012 Press Conference, officially dubbed, “The Download: EA’s 2012 Preview,” as we share all the news and thoughts in our live chat recap below. We also have the video streaming the press conference, which goes live at 4:00 pm EST/1:00 pm PST, so feel free to take a break from work when the bossman isn’t looking.
We would have loved for EA to showcase the more “complete” Mass Effect 3 ending, but they did bring new life to its Madden NFL franchise. Nothing on giving reasons to use its Origin download service.

i may skip the dead space part, i got dead space 1 & 2 not that long ago but i havent had time to play them so i dont want to pick up any spoilers. Also i wanna play them at night but its summer and it doesnt get dark till about 22:30 so i would have to wait till winter but i will probably just put really thick curtains up to black out the living room.
Well, EA’s conference was pretty much a dud. Too much Sports focus, nothing new. Dead Space 3 does look cool, and I’m glad TOR is going free to play in some respect, but damn, I can not bring myself to care about most of the titles.
NO ME3 then i dont care they need to talk about the dlc ending or ea will keep losing money for years to come
lol. Yeah EA is losing so much money from ME3 (sarcasm). EA will be fine and continue to publish top notch games. Why do people even want non-playable DLC. Give me more missions not cut scenes.
Most Wanted and Medal of Honor Warfighter looked really nice, though if Most Wanted doesn’t have splitscreen…I’m defo not going to buy it again. I missed the FIFA 13 part, but can anyone tell me if they talked about the PSMOVE functionality? And Battlefield 3 news…I am actually liking this Premium thing VERY much…but I have to say..I feel kinda retarded now. I already got Back to Karkand for free with my Limited Edition and I was sooo eager for the Close Quarters DLC that I preorderd it more than a month ago from GreenMan Gaming…and now I want this, but there’s no way I can pay $50 for it…cause I already have 2 of the 5 DLCs….I wonder if I contact EA support and explain them my situation, maybe they can help me get a discount? :S
