Nintendo is about to start its live press conference to discuss its plans for the next year. Nintendo had a pretty stellar year in 2010 with big exclusives such as Donkey Kong Country Returns, GoldenEye 007, and Kirby's Epic Yarn just to name a few. 2011 was supposed to be another big year for Nintendo, but has turned out a little more shaky for the Big N. Pokemon Black and White has sold really well as expected, but outside of that, Nintendo has seen a huge dip in Wii sales. If that hasn't been bad enough, the Nintendo 3DS hasn't been doing as well as expected either, so Nintendo has a lot of ground to cover to make sure they hold on to their spot on top. The big reveal that could be a show-stealer for Nintendo is their next console. Codenamed Project Café, the Wii's successor is said to be a HD Nintendo console - that is even more powerful than the Xbox 360 and PS3. From what we understand, the Wii 2 will utilize new touch-screen controllers, support Blu-Ray, and feature a completely revamped online setup.
